Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent and James Kennedy are likely coming back for another season of the show – they brought a much needed shakeup and an extra punch of 20-something drama. The two sat down (well James bounced around the studio…) with Nik Richie for his NRP podcast this week and they had all sorts of gems to share on their ‘untalented’ co-stars. Lala admits that she has a girl lined up for Tom Schwartz for “when” he dumps Katie Maloney, also thinks someone needs to toss Stassi’s thirsty ass some Aquafina and so, so much more!
Nik starts right off by sharing that he doesn’t like how Jax Taylor and the others are downplaying what Lala and James bring to the show. Lala says, “I think they’re worried. If we weren’t on screen, we were in their mouth, so they kept us pretty relevant.”
The highlights – OK, lowlights, are below. And no, we’re not bullying Brandi by PULLING direct quotes from her so don’t try it. It’s not our fault her truth cannons sometimes self-detonate!
First of all Nik is so freaking cheesy. He sucks up to Brandi hardcore and she takes the bait. Then they rehash every. single. dramatic moment of Brandi’s life, but I do like Nik’s voice and he asks insightful questions.
Following the taping, Dr. Jenn tweeted, “All I am going to say is that last night’s Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn reunion was major. It airs September 3rd and it will not disappoint.” Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden, Nik Richie and Shayne Lamas, and JoJo and Tiny Hailey participated in the reunion as well, but all of the gossip surrounding the taping is about the Teen Mom stars.
If you have ever wondered what happened to your favorite couples, or the biggest train wreck couples, from Couples Therapy, then I have good news for you! VH1 recently announced that a Couples Therapy reunion is in the works!
“Couples Therapy is taping a special 5-season All-Star Reunion, featuring appearances by some of the most memorable couples from the entire history of the series LIVE onstage before a studio audience,” revealed VH1. “Dr. Jenn Berman will serve as host and moderator for this hi-octane reunion, showing highlights of all the most memorable moments from the series and finding out what has happened with everyone since their experience in Couples Therapy. It will be explosive, entertaining, and a night to remember!”
Shayne revealed in a statement today that the child she was carrying was a boy. "In loving memory of my son, Rex Jagger Lamas-Richie," and urged fans to donate blood, "To everyone out there, please donate blood. You can save a life like mine."
The formerCouples Therapy star also thanked fans for their love and support and reassured them that despite a Valentine's Day setback, she is on the path to recovery. "Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I've cried reading the expression of generosity and warmth from everyone," Shayneshared with Us Weekly. "I'm out of ICU at Mission Viejo Hospital. I cannot thank the medical staff here enough for not giving up on me."
The former Couples Therapy star was rushed to the hospital after she collapsed where an emergency surgery was performed to save her life.
"I'm still working from the ICU. This has been the toughest week of my life, but my love for Shayne Lamas has grown tremendously," husband Nik Richie shared of Shayne's condition. "My wife is a true fighter. Her heart gave out on Valentine's Day and we had to start the rehabilitation process all over again."
On Sunday at 7:35 pm the paramedics were called to Shayne's Orange County home after she collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital, with Nik by her side, where doctors discovered internal bleeding around her uterus and determined emergency surgery was needed to discover the cause of the bleeding.
Unfortunately during the surgery Shayne's unborn baby was lost in the process, however doctors are "optimistic about her recovery" says TMZ.
