In the never ending drama of the OC housewives, Jeff’s ex wife and mother of his three children Sharon spoke out recently and cleared the air on the whole Gretchen issue. She posted this as a comment on our other blog. We were able to verify with 100% certainty that the comment was indeed written by Sharon. What she had to say is very interesting.
“My kids do NOT and NEVER have adored Gretchen….they know exactly what she’s about and what she’s up to and has been up to all along and their Dad knew it too. My daughter, Jill making any statement re. Gretchen explained that she simply doesn’t want anymore negative comments written about her Dad which is embarrassing and hurtful to her and her brother and sister. Jill appearing to defend Gretchen (slightly) is done only to quiet any negative statements made about her Dad period. Our three kids, Jennifer, Jill and Jake (Lizzy is not Jeff’s daughter, nor mine…she’s a long-time friend of our daughter Jill) are not fans of Rossi at all and how they describe her in real terms, isn’t nice and hasn’t been nice historically. The fact is, Jeff was never going to marry her and she knows it but likes to play it like they were so much in love (gee…wonder why???). I’ve known Jeff for 25 years and I did visit him in August while he was in the hospital at which time we talked a lot. What I know is totally different than what Gretchen portrays which means, I know the truth and she knows that I know the truth. Sometimes I feel pity for her which is about the most I can feel given all of her lies over the course of time. I really feel sorry for her family, especially her Mom.
My kids are so far above Gretchen in integrity, self-respect and character that it’s really embarrassing that they were ever exposed to her to begin with. Jeff said he was lonely and knew that he appeared desperate to a lot of people, probably both and not unlike a lot of people that are in their mid-life. Gretchen badgered him into being part of this show to begin with and Tamra exposing Gretchen for the fraud she is was gutsy even knowing that she’d experience some backlash from it. Gretchen screwing around on Chris with Jeff and on Jeff with Jay and Jay with Slade naturally would have it’s downside and if Gretchen believed that all of this would remain secret means that she is about as intelligent as a box of rocks. So….Jay exposed her…she’s earned all the disrespect she’s been given and gives to others and if she believes she deserves an iota of respect at all, well….I’m back to the box of rocks intellect again.”

Answere those questions!! So until then you will just be known as the Bitter X who didnt get anything out of his death and as his X he is going to be nice to you as a FRIEND!!! Because you are the mother of his children and you was his lover a long time ago but that is the past so why would you ever want to trash someone who lost her One and Only true love???

I personally believe Sharon, I think that the old man was with her to have someone there while he was ill. He wanted someone there wether he had to pay for it or not. And she was ready and willing to do it for a price. Just like Howard Marshall. They both know that these women were using them and I believe he just wanted to feel healthy and young during this time. And if she is so close to his kids and they love her so much why don’t you see them anywhere. They were on the show because they wanted to be around their father and that was probably the only way that they could be. Gretchen probably made sure of it. To make her look good. She more than likely planned it like this when she signed up for the show. Talked Jeff into it, no doubt. She is as much of a golddigger as Slade Smiley. If she loves children so much why doesn’t she make slade take care of his responsibility with his kids. Why aren’t the on the show like before like when he was with Jo. HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM.
Tammy, the word is spelled j-e-a-l-o-u-s. And no, I don’t think people are jealous of Gretchen — I think people are fed up with her lies and manipulations.
And, if you watched last season of the OC, Jeff didn’t buy that ring for Gretchen or propose to her. Gretchen ordered the ring through some mail-order place and paid for it with Jeff’s money. Don’t you remember the episode when the mailman delivered the ring and she was running all over the place showing it off? She explained on that episode that Jeff gave her permission to buy the ring. “GAVE HER PERMISSION” — that doesn’t sound like a proposal of marriage to me.
Wow, those who are defending Gretchen are as stupid as she is…everyone in orange county knows the truth about her. No one is jealous of Gretchen! She’s a con artist!
Tammy: you asked why did he buy her those things?….it was payment for services rendered….it had nothing to do with love. And as far as you saying her was her one and only true love….then why did she move slade slimey in 2 weeks after he died?
Gretchenlies, a better question is: if Jeff was the one true love of her life, why was she leaving him and running off to Lake Havasu with Jay while Jeff was dying? Why did she have Jay’s name tattooed on her ring finger?
Wretchin’ Gretchen was messing around on Jeff the entire time he was in the hospital. She cheated on her husband Chris with Jeff. She cheated on Jeff with Jay. She cheated on Jay with Slade. Do you see a pattern here?
Lizzie- She told People (magazine) that she dated Jay BEFORE Jeff so that means she cheated on Chris with Jay AND Jeff.

Jeff and Gretchen lived in Newport in May (as PROVED by HGTV)
she filed for divorce from Chris in July. (go to the OC county site for verification) Jeff was sick of her crap, she moved out and she started dating Jay – as PROVEN BY MUTLIPLE PHOTOS – Gretchen was approached by Slade and Jo to do the show. Sharon confirms that Gretchen needed Jeff to have a compelling story line, and the poor guy needed a little sunshine in his last days, plus his kids would have a place to stay when they came to CA to visit their dad. This is not a negative reflection on Jeff at all. Gretchen and Jay are still together, planning how to explain THEIR story. AT the reunion, Tamra realizes she needs to explain why she changed her tune and brings up Jay. G texts J, J texts Simon, Simon texts Tamra because Simon and Jay are friends to try to get Tamra to shut up. Gretchen starts with the denial to try to save face. She realizes she needs to break it off with Jay and then Slade steps in. Although Slade claims he doesn’t want to be on the show (read Jo’s interview about how badly Slade wanted to do date my ex).
Love how at the reunion Slade tells Andy that HE decided not to be on the show after Season 2 (Jo was off the show by then) but he still showed up at every end of summer party. Tammy Kinickerbocker’s ex didn’t show up…
Gretchen claims on her blog that Slade is big in Europe – then why so shocked that people in the Vatican knew him…
Gretchen is a total fraud and anyone who thinks otherwise is mentally deficient. She also looks like she ate a pile of crap in her facebook photo.
WTF? but in Season 4, Episode 6 Lizzy clearly says OUR dad is doing a lot better. Maybe she is a daughter from one of his 5/6 ex-wives?
Blue — my understanding is that Lizzy isn’t really one of Jeff’s kids. She’s the long-time close friend of one of his daughters.
Jennifer, Jill, & Jake are Jeff’s only children.. Lizzie is a close family friend,Not one of his children

I saw the episode. GRETCHEN talked about them designing the ring together. Did it really happen? Gretchen isn’t the most reliable source for truthful information, in case you haven’t noticed.
Sharon did quite nicely for herself when her and Jeff divorced, so I don’t think she much cares whether or not she was named in his will. She was there for him less than a month before he died — did you see that on the show? I sure remember Gretchen talking about how the kids called their mother to come help with Jeff.
Sharon was brought to CA to stay with Jeff because Gretchen was out doing what comes naturally to her — partying and being a whore.
Gretchen is sickening. She left Jeff dying in the hospital while she went partying, and then used his name after he died to set up a fake charity and pocket the money. That’s some piece of work you’re defending.

You’re right, she did say she dated Jay BEFORE Jeff, she said that at the reunion too. She was with Jay before, during and after filming of Season 4, he ended the relationship because of “business” meetings she was having with Slade. So I guess it goes Chris-Jeff-Jay-Slade-???
well i totally support you sharon. you are brave and i hope this would bring miss rossi down a notch or two. she is a fame whore and a shallow gold digger. not to mention a glorified slut. thank you sharon for speaking out, it is obvious you are a wonderful and loving mother and truly loved jeff. best wishes to you in your life.

It was Jeff choice to be with Gretchen paid or not. She is young an dated a lot of men so what? Jeff was aged and ill. Jeff lied about everything if you are accusing Gretchen. So if the relationship was fake as you say, technically G didn’t cheat. It’s a reality show not a real show. Get over it. You divorced him stay out of it.
