The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County formally introduced us to Alexis Bellino, the newest housewife on the block.
Alexis, 32, is a stay at home mom of three, and is happily married to entrepreneur Jim Bellino. This episode of the OC Housewives was a perfect example of why doing a reality show is a not so great idea for a marriage. The little things about your spouse that you found oh so adorable quite frankly might translate into creepy and controlling in front of millions of viewers. All of a sudden, your “perfect” marriage doesn’t appear so perfect anymore.
I was loving the dynamic between Alexis and Jim, 47, at the beginning of the episode, especially when they mentioned putting God first in their marriage, then came some awkward moments which included Jim telling his wife to quiet down during their lunch ( she was barely loud by the way), and Jim not allowing her to try on lingerie at the store (even though her bathing suit from the previous day was very revealing). Seems like it gets even better judging from next week’s previews. We get to see Jim not allow Alexis to go on a trip without him. Sighs, all soo romantic.
Tonight’s episode also brought way TMI (Too Much Information) concerning Gretchen and Slade’s relationship. I could have really done without the excessive details of their sex life. A refreshing moment however was Slade admitting he was poor/broke. It was nice to see some honesty regarding his financial situation. Gretchen continues her attempt to prove to us that she didn’t get a ton of money from her late fiance, Jeff Beitzel, though a TMZ report reveals she received $2.5 million.
Tamra continues to prove to us she has some major jealousy and self esteem issues. Vicki was Vicki as always, and we got to see a somewhat emotional goodbye from Jeana. It was nice seeing her with all of her kids. Can’t say I really blame her for wanting out of this OC madness.

So Jim is an “entrepreneur.” What sort of entrepreneur?
These days everyone including eBay sellers market themselves as “entrepreneurs”.
“Entrepreneur” and “consultant” are code words for “unemployed.”
Like Tamra’s husband, Simon, Jim’s “entrepreneur” business will probably go downhill since most people in Orange County despise the RHofOC and the bad image of OC they have portrayed to the rest of America.
Like Vicki posted on one blog, her business has gone downhill seriously since many of her former clients objected to the sort of show she is associated with. Guess what Jim, you’re next, lol…..

I thought they all came off as mean girls. As Kim Zolciak says, “That’s not cute”.
For two weeks now, in Gretchen’s Bravo blog, she says the inheritance figure is a lie. TMZ can say it was 2.5million all they like (and lying TAMRAAAAA) said it was 1.7, but no one can prove squat so why does this blog continue with the lies??
RealityTea, you should put up or shut up. IF Gretchen did get a settlement, known to Jeff’s kids and 5 ex wives, why would she deny it on tv and make herself and Slade out to be “on a budget??” Sounds loike a Jay story…which the owner of this blog pretends not to believe so where’s the proof??

Congratulations to Jim and Alexis. I have known Jim for years and am happy he has found happiness with someone he loves. He is a “true hard working entrepreneur” having done business deals with Jim and owning property with him… I can say he is a shrewd business man…. However he always kept to his word (which is more than I can say for most of the men from OC) I have never seen him over indulge in anything and he was always a gentleman. If I recall correctly he was a theology major… perhaps the understanding of God coming first… I would not characterize him as controlling… maybe he’s just protective of the people he cares about! My best to them both !
I like her. She is very attractive. I respect how she puts her husband and family first. I like her husband as well.

I’m with Trixie on this one. Her husband seemed to be giving really backhanded “compliments” and their scenes together seemed uncomfortably contrived. I sensed anger boiling just beneath the surface in him.
I think that Alexis was a good addition to the show. She is loyal, honest, a good mom, and she is hot!. What 32 year old woman has a body like her after three kids?. I think her husband is abusive and old. He really needs to call Jenny Craig. Matter of fact why can’t he just use his wife’s Gym Membership instead? He is so ugly and looks dirty!!..You could do so much better Alexis!!.Don’t let money stop you from being happy!!!
Jim is an entrepreneur. We dated for a short time. He was a great guy,but in the short amount of time I knew him, I saw that he was a controlling guy. Thats why we didn’t make it. i felt very uncomfortable with him. I’m really happy that Alexis has a way of handling it, because I couldn’t. We dated about 7 years ago, so it’s nothing new. Again, I am happy for both of them. Every relationship is different. What works for one couple may not work for another. So if they are happy, then we should be happy for them. Congratulations to both of you. Alexis you are BEAUTIFUL!!! He is lucky!
Is it true Alexis’s first husband divorced her for cheating? Is Jim a pawn broker? How does her dressing so slutty allow her to walk around bragging about being a “Christian”? I just started watching the OC housewives and since she’s new to the show, don’t know her.
