It seems just like last month we were reporting the shocking news that Eric Snow, husband of DeShawn Snow had gotten his mistress pregnant. Well that was then and this is now as the mistress has now delivered a baby girl for Eric.
StraightFromTheA is reporting the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who only filed for divorce back in May, became a dad again on July 14th, as his mistress Marisela Alvarado gave birth to a healthy 8-pound baby girl whom the couple have named Ava Maria Snow. A picture of the baby is below.
While the divorce is still ongoing for the Snows, reports state that Eric, a former NBA player, is worth $20 million and might have to shell out an estimated $8 million dollars to DeShawn along with the Atlanta mansion the couple shared with their three sons.
Eric has yet to publicly comment on his divorce or mistress. DeShawn however seems to be moving on and is said to be working on a Disney project for her three sons. DeShawn is reportedly in talks with the network to cast her three sons, Eric Javon, Darius Michael, and Jarren Christopher in a major Disney deal, which involves a television pilot.

Tough break….DeShawn was not dealing with reality and that was evident with her poor attempt at putting a fundraiser together to raise 1 million in two weeks and inviting people who had no intention to buy anything.
She was ditzy to say the least and didn’t have much substance. I hope she has learned he lesson. Women get hobbies and be about something….just staying home and spending money doesn’t a good wifey make……
This was reported on Bossip earlier this year and the news of the baby’s birth reported a while back as well. It has been said that Eric was quite the Ahole during the filming of the show and this mistress was a friend of both of theirs from college. Deshawn should whoop that A%$.

I read an ariticle in which it stated that he was verbally abusive to his wife during filming and had to be reminded that profanity could not be used.
He does had money and she will make out quite well in the divorce.
Then she can live anywhere she pleases with a staff of 10.

Poor DeShawn, I’m not gonna blame her because it seems that when a marriage goes south somehow it is always the woman’s fault. Always “she didn’t satisfy him” or “she couldn’t keep her man”, whatever a marriage is a two person union.

I liked DeShawn just fine. I thought she was sweet, but not the brightest bulb. I know they had money to spend, but I think Eric was upset with her spending so much on extra staff. Eric is a LOSER for having an affair. His mistress is unattractive. Of course, I don’t think he’s attractive either. If he didn’t want to be married, he should have gotten a divorce a LONG time ago. I feel sorry for all of the children involved. Baby Ava Maria is precious.

That said – I couldn’t STAND her when she was on Real of Atlanta:
– trying to put togther a high brow society charity event in two weeks
– desperate for attendees – she left open ended postcard invites everywhere for anyone to attend
– walzing down that staircase with Eric to the event as if she was royalty
– interviewing and hiring a staff as if she was royalty
– the three bratty unruly boys – she didn’t even cook for
– oh and that overbite – with the bad veneers
– couldn’t pronouce so many words ‘jewree’ (jewelry)
– her ridiculous DeShawn Snow Foundation – complete with an eleborate office away from home
I am convinced that she thought she was Oprah – and had the same money , power, and notoriety. That “Foundation” was supposed to help young girls in Atlanta – ala Oprah’s African School for girls. But its goals & mission statement were so vague. She had no idea what she was doing.
In the Real franchise – while her behavior was not vulgar – her story was one of the first to show the trappings of money – gone to her head.
I liked Deshawn as a whole think she was nice just a tad naive. First of all you have no job and 3 kids cook and clean in your own damn house stop always having folks in your space. I hope she saved some money on the side 8 million won’t last long in the upkeep of that house. She better get a small business of her own going on or something or that house is going to be up for sale, unless they paid for it in full. Anther one bites the dust
I agree wholeheartedly that DeShawn should have done SOMETHING in her home since she was a homemaker. Know Eric was bringing in a good amount of money, but she didn’t need such a big staff. Frankly, imo, she didn’t need any staff. Guess she thought she was royalty. Again, not the brightest bulb.

I am not ‘hatin’ as you put it. SHE WAS being ridiculous with the house. If you watched the show when she was on, you could tell he was ANNOYED with her and the process. HE WAS NOT INTO IT. A family is not made based on how big a house it.
Plus, he still left her big house and all. She wanted the biggest house on the block (like T&J) and now she doesn’t have a husband. Hopefully she won’t end up like Danielle in a house she cannot afford. HOLLA!
I didn’t think DeShawn was that bright, either- but she did have a foundation and was trying to do something right in her life. Yes, the ‘staff’ in her home was a bit much, but she was still nice & humble.
It’s one thing for the husband to cheat, but for him to cheat with someone you know is extra heartbreaking. Yes, the woman DOES deserve to have her ass kicked. She KNEW that man was married, so she’s just as him.
No one deserves that pain. All because she’s a bit ditzy doesn’t make her a bad person who deserves for her husband to cheat & get another woman pregnant while they’re still bonded.

Alot of you guys make great points, but at the end of the day if he wasn’t happy he should have been a man and walked away. No one deserves this, Deshawn didn’t hold a gun to his head and say “Buy me this, or else” lol come on her should have been a real man and said no..He spoiled her because he wanted her to pay attention to things and not whta he was doing.It’s inacceptable and there is no excuse. Nothing anyone can say makes this right. But the baby is beautiful. FYI and because he cheated and they;ve been together since college. @28 CandiCane….I am totally with you. I will NEVER understand why people don’t just get a divorce instead of having an affair, or affairs. It’s beyond me. Maybe I’m naive, and maybe I’ve been married for a very long time, but I think that when two people make a commitment before God they need to keep it. If not, and don’t want to seek counseling, then time to get a divorce. I feel so sorry for all of the children involved. Eric is a loser in my book. His mistress is, too. It takes two to tango. DeShawn may not be the brightest, but no one deserves to be treated the way she was. I wonder how long it will be before Eric cheats on his mistress. Probably will if hasn’t already.

Cheating is one of those things in life I’ll never understand!! I agree with those who said if he wasn’t happy, if he didn’t love her anymore, he should have been *man* enough to tell her so!! Would that have hurt her? Of course but now that he’s done the cheating, it’s double the pain.

Deshawn: I feel sorry for her, no one deserves to be cheated on, whether or not you’re smart intellectually or financially. Do I think she was misguided in some of her decisions? Of course I do, but still she deserved better from Eric.
Eric: He’s weak and deserving of a woman low enough to cheat with another woman’s husband. He was probably not the first married man she cheated with, and she was definitely not his first mistress. My thoughts, they deserve each other, because they’re both faithless people.
The children: The boys will have a difficult time understanding why their father is no longer with them and now has a “new baby girl”. This will definitely create tension for years to come.
Ava Maria will be praised and cooed over because she is the “only girl” and “only child” of Eric and Marisela. The baby’s name, “Ava Maria” is not fitting for everyone. “Ava” meaning to “bring good news” was probably how Marisela and Eric felt upon hearing that they were expecting, however once the divorce settlement is final and the dust clears, Eric won’t think the news is so good after all.

DeShawn is stupid? Really? I think that she wanted to do something good with her money. I run a small business and when I hire staff, I never think I’m royalty. I think I’m hiring people who need a job to support their families. In addition, I think we call her stupid for hiring a house staff, but she had a big house. I’m not saying that she had to have a lot of people, but she needed additional help. Also, Deshawn had a little more money than the other housewives, so of course it looked like she was being excessive. As regular Joes, we expect millionaires to cut coupons. Get real. Sheree spent more money on clothes and shoes and she didn’t have any money. DeShawn’s only downfall was assuming that her rich friends were also generous donors. The only thing they were interested in was holding on to their pockets. Also, it was their money and if her husband had a problem with it, he could have just asked for the checkbook back. He’s still a pig and he didn’t think anything about DeShawn or their two boys.
