Lynn Patridge, mother to Audrina Patridge, issued an apology yesterday, just a day after going on a drunken rant following the elimination of her daughter on Dancing With The Stars.
Following Audrina’s elimination on Tuesday night, the Patridge family hit up a LA restaurant for dinner, during which things took a shocking turn when, after “three glasses of wine,” Lynn decided to come outside to speak to the paparazzi.
“When one door closes another one opens,” slurred Lynn. “Audrina is going to f—ing rise. She’s got class. You know why? She’s a Polish, Catholic, f—ing full-on Italian. Not only that, she was raised right. And I don’t give a s–t. It’s all American.”
But it only got worse folks as Lynn, who will be starring on Audrina’s upcoming reality show on VH1, then went on a rampage against Audrina’s former Hills co-star Lauren Conrad.
“We’re going to f—ing smoke, especially Lauren Conrad’s pissy a– little fashion s—. That bitch wants to bring it on? Let’s go!” Oddly enough, Lynn acknowledged during her rant that Audrina, 25, would “be so pissed” if she realized Lynn was talking to paparazzi. But that didn’t stop her. “I’ve had it. I’ve been a celebrity mom eight years through this Hills bulls–t, but Audrina’s going to the next level, baby,” she explained. “F—ing Hills girls — Hills tramps! My baby’s a star! She’s the only one that has some class and I don’t give a f— about it.”
Lynn then issued a statement yesterday apologizing for her behavior. That statement is below -
“I am sincerely sorry for the negative things I said in the heat of the moment. As a mother, there is no pain in this world like seeing your children upset. I am so proud of my daughter and all she has accomplished on Dancing with the Stars. I was extremely emotional after her elimination — it just came as such a shock. I want to apologize for offending anyone.”

She did not apologize to Lauren Conrad. She just tried to excuse her white trash behavior on being upset that her daughter was kicked off DWTS. The real reason she is bad mouthing Audrina is they picked once Lauren’s reality show was in the works they pulled out of the pool of potential networks that might pick up Audrina’s show. MTV went with their original girl, Lauren, and why not, she has made them money/ratings and been loyal to them. Now Audrina’s show will be with all the other Z list losers on VHI. That is the real reason for Lynn’s ill will. Grow the F up woman. Let your daughter speak for herself and fight her own battles. It’s not like Audrina has anything else going for her other than to try and act or date famous people. Don’t screw up any chance your daughter may have in the entertainment industry or she will end up swinging around a pole in the near future. You make Dina Lohan look like Mother Theresa.

One phrase comes to mind for me after reading this. Publicity stunt. Audrina doesn’t seem to have then personality to carry a reality show. Insert hammered mom talking crap on celebrities to the press and now things get interesting. Something tells me that’s gonna be a good episode.
