The fallout from Kenya Moore's charity event is getting messier by the minute!
Earlier today Saving Our Daughters released a statement, sharing that they had not received any donations from Kenya's fundraiser masquerade ball – aside from a $500 one for their annual doll drive. Kenya is firing back tonight with proof ..sort of?
Kenya turned to lovebscott.com to share texts between her and the head of Saving Our Daughters and also to show off some receipt proof of how much she donated and how much spent on the event. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star coughed up a canceled check for $500 – possibly the check for the toy drive and a few other receipts for some of the costs of the party. She claims she spent $10,000 on the event when all was said and done.

Kenya said in a statement to the site, “It’s unfortunate Mr. Curtis Benjamin was not aware of the effort I put into trying to make the event a success for Saving Our Daughters or overlooked the texts regarding the intended honoree. I spent over $10,000 dollars to make the charity event successful, in addition to making a personal donation from the event as well as forwarding any and all donations collected. I hope the focus can shift to the young girls and I wish the organization nothing but the best in the future.”
Kenya also Tweeted that she has more proof, "I have video proof more check copies and a contract too so pls do not come for me unless I send for you. #dropsmicrophone #grabsbible2pray4u".
We're not sure if she means she has more copies of checks showing various expenses from the party or more donation check copies. Because I think everyone is more interested in seeing THAT proof, to be honest. If they sent her a letter with a summary of the donation total, she should be sharing that.
It's interesting that one of the checks says in the memo "RHOA filming" and not "charity event"…
