New Shows on Bravo - Look Who's Hosting Live with Andy Cohen

Bravo Announces 7 New Shows! Plus, Andy Cohen Mentors Celebrities As Late Night Talk Show Hosts

Andy Cohen has been busy in the Bravo Clubhouse. So busy, in fact, that he’s enlisting help from his celebrity friends as temporary late night hosts! Look Who’s Hosting Live, a new Bravo show in which celebrities becomes hosts of their very own late night talk show – for one night only – is one of seven new shows in the works for Bravo.

Bravo describes the celebrity spin on Watch What Happens Live as a chance for wannabe hosts to do it all: “From writing monologues, to picking their sidekicks and guests, these hosts-for-a-night will get the chance to live out their fantasy and design their dream show.” But does celebrity mean Bravolebrity? Are we gonna get to see Ramona Singer interviewing some hapless starlet while sucking down Pinot from her new beer goggles? Because if so, then…yes please!

Six other new shows are in the works at Bravo.

One spinoff (of sorts) from Million Dollar Listing NY includes Ryan Serhant, starring in new show Employee of the Month. The premise? “Ryan will team up with under-performing sales representatives that deal in anything from cars to seafood to caskets. While Ryan learns the tricks of that particular trade, he will also give the low-selling employee a head-to-toe business overhaul and turn them into sales machines,” describes Bravo.

A new real estate themed show, Real Estate Wars, will pit two Orange County real estate offices against one another “to see who can sell the most property in six months.”

In a Hunger-Games-meets-Morgan-Spurlock-documentary, Bravo is also revealing a show called Stripped. Dubbed a “social experiment,” Stripped “tests materialistic individuals who agree to be stripped of everything they own including clothing, furniture, and all their coveted possessions for 21 days to find out how their life will be affected. Each day, they will be permitted to take back one item that they can’t live without.” Oh my. I can think of a few Bravolebrities who would be perrrrrrrfect for this little show! I propose Erika Jayne. Not Erika Girardi. Erika JAYNE. (First thing to go – glam squad?)

Next up,  I’d Kill for That is a game show that “tests how far you would go to win a Birkin bag, Louboutins worn by a coveted Bravolebrity, or the latest ‘it’ watch. Each week, friends, co-workers, and family members will compete against each other in a series of trivia, brain teasers, and hilarious physical obstacles in hopes of winning an enviable object of their desire.”

In State of Affairs, Bravo’s Dr. Lisa Paz examines the schemes and cycles of cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eaters. She apparently “will counsel couples rocked by affairs with her unorthodox beliefs and radical methods to help them decide if they can get past the betrayal and stay together or if they should call it quits.”

In another show concept, contestants showcase that awkward moment when all of your friend groups collide. While trapped on a trip together. In Invitation Only, “one person will invite a handful of their closest friends from different phases in their life to meet for the very first time and embark on an incredible getaway.” Bravo teases, “With everyone under one roof, will one vacationer’s emotional baggage ruin the group dynamic or will the high school bestie make a love connection with the office confidant?”

Whelp. It looks like we’re in for some screwball drama coming soon to a TV near you! Bravo’s Senior Vice President of Development Lara Spotts says these shows build on “Bravo’s robust and successful tradition of buzzy, unique format shows,” adding that they are “a diverse collection of shows which all include the signature Bravo wink and delicious drama that our viewers love to unwind to.”
