Even though Melisssa Gorga and her husband Joe Gorga have talked about the construction of their house on Real Housewives of New Jersey, they will not be moving in. After moving into a rental home, then back into their Montville home, the Gorgas are selling their unfinished Franklin Lakes home.
It seems like several Real Housewives are selling their houses these days. Real Housewives of Orange County stars Kelly Dodd and Meghan King Edmonds also put their homes up for sale recently. Nevertheless, I figured since Joe is someone who works in construction and takes such pride in his job, I am a little bit shocked that the Gorgas are giving up the home.

The home is in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and Joe and Melissa are listing the 9,500-square-foot 5 bedroom mansion for a price tag of $2.65 million.
Although I’m sure the mansion is amazing, it is still not finished. In fact, it is an estimated few HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars from being done, which seems like quite a lot to me, but I’m not a famous reality star or anything like that. Plus, I feel like most people looking at a $2.65 million home have some spare cash to spend on renovations.

Apparently the mansion is need of light fixtures and kitchen appliances. Not only that, but whoever buys the place will need to finish the basement – or not, I guess that’s not necessarily a requirement to move in to a house.
It will be interesting to see if the house sells considering it is not finished and it is not cheap, but maybe there is some avid Real Housewives of New Jersey viewer who is dying to move into the Gorga mansion.
