Shannon Beador defends herself against mother-in-law Donna

Shannon Beador Thinks Vicki Gunvalson Is “Just Plain Cruel”

The animosity between Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson is very intense during this season of Real Housewives of Orange County. They’ve barely appeared on camera together, but the shit talking and refusal to hang out with each other is dramatic enough. Vicki crossed the line when she decided to talk about Shannon’s mother-in-law hanging out with and preferring David Beador’s mistress over Shannon during a group trip to some mud spa.

How does Vicki “know” all of this? She heard gossip around town and she definitely believes it. Wow. Those are some cold hard facts, Vicki. I get that she hates Shannon because Shannon refuses to be friends with her, but does she not get that talking about the Beador family on a TV show hurts Shannon’s three children more than anyone. Classy move, Vic. Well, obviously that scene did not sit too well with Shannon.

Talking about Shannon’s family drama and using nothing but supposed gossip as “evidence” just makes Vicki look bad. I don’t get what she thought she was doing other than making some juicy television. I would be absolutely livid if I were Shannon, David, or one of the Beador girls- who I’m sure watch the show from time to time. As expected, Shannon was upset with Vicki’s out of turn comments and voiced these thoughts in her latest Bravo blog entry.

Shannon didn’t hold back when she said, “I can’t tell you how shocked I was to hear the women’s conversation at the spa. Honestly, Vicki is just plain cruel. She is taking this opportunity to embellish the truth to hurt me.” Vicki just made herself look horrible by instigating this gossip fest behind Shannon’s back. I figured she would be on her best behavior since she is so polarizing these days, but then again she is the “OG of the OC” for a reason so maybe she was just trying to create a salacious scene for the show.

Shannon explained that Vicki is the person least likely to know anything personal about her relationship with David: “Vicki has no idea if David was happier in his affair. My husband chose to renew our vows on his own and we are incredibly happy today. I have not had any in depth conversations with Vicki in a year and a half. She knows nothing about my personal life.” Right. It looks like Vicki was just desperately trying to trash Shannon in all honesty.

I also thought it was super childish that she just based her knowledge of Shannon’s family life based on some rumors she supposedly heard. Shannon had some similar thoughts and also clarified that they don’t even live in the same town (or anything close to that): “And for Vicki to say that OC is a small town, I just have to point out that Vicki lives nowhere near me — she’s about 45 minutes away.” I honestly just feel like Vicki made that shit up and used “hearing gossip” as a scapegoat.

Shannon really hit Vicki hard with this one:  “We didn’t shove anything under a rug. It’s been two and a half years and we have definitely worked through a lot of hard times. Nice try though, Vicki. Sorry it didn’t work out the same for you.” That’s cold, but damn I could totally see Vicki being jealous that the infidelity in the Beadors‘ relationship wasn’t resolved in any of her own. Shaking. My. Damn. Head.

It looks like the craziness is far from over since Shannon ended her blog with: “And how about the scenes for the rest of the season??? Trust me, it is mind blowing!” I cannot wait. That preview looked insane.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK VICKI ACTUALLY HAD KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SHANNON’S MARRIAGE?
