Even with a cast full of less than likable characters, Landon Clements has managed to giggle her way to earning a “villain” label on Southern Charm. After all of the hate she received last season for her role in the Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis saga and her attempts to flirt with Austen Kroll while he was with Chelsea Meissner, I have no idea why she would ever want to come back to the show.

Every single thing Landon does is criticized and she has a lot of haters, so it’s unclear if Landon left the show or if she was let go, but either way she will not be a part of the cast next season.

Props to whoever from People noticed this amazing comment thread on one of Landon’s Instagram posts.

An Instagram user commented, “Soo pretty!!! but lately on the show, your personality and lack of girl code/desperately throwing yourself on Austen  and flaunting your status as Shep [Rose] was saying u did in the work meeting, does not match up with your beautiful looks. Hopefully if there’s another season we can see the inside you match up with the outside you.”

That seems like quite the comment for a stranger to leave on a social media post, but then again I’m sure she’s seen worse trolling throughout the years.

Landon responded to that comment with, “Girl code? That’s so silly. I’ve never been anything but friends with all of those boys and actually that really hurt my feelings that Chelsea said that. As for Shep we fight like brother and sister. I won’t be returning this season and heading back to California to pursue my career in real estate.”

I’m sure Kathryn (and plenty of the viewers) will celebrate the news of Landon‘s departure, but now this show could be struggling for a story line as per usual. Thank god for Kathryn. We can always count on her to keep things interesting.
