This is news to me, apparently Chelsea Meissner was not a “cast member” on Southern Charm last season even though she appeared in most of the episodes, including trips, and the reunion. In related news, Chelsea is now a cast member on Southern Charm next season.
It makes sense to “add” another person to the cast since Landon Clements left the show, but Chelsea doesn’t bring that villain drama the same way Landon did. It will be interesting to see how next season goes without a villain to root against.
Bravo posted a video with the title “Guess Who’s Joining The Cast Of Southern Charm!” When I read that I assumed it was a new person, but apparently it’s Chelsea, which is fine- I’m just saying that is a misleading headline.
In the video she said, “Hey, It’s Chelsea.” We know. We watched last season. We “got to know” Chelsea last season and she was likable. She put Shep Rose in her place and had a sweet (yet short-lived) romance with Austen Kroll. It will be interesting to see how those two interact next season.
She shared, “I’m so excited to be joining the cast of Southern Charm this season.” Then I wondered if I just accidentally watched a video from last year, but I didn’t.
Chelsea vaguely teased, “It’s going to be an awesome season. I hope everyone tunes in.” She added, “It’s wild. It’s gonna be nuts.” How so?
