Selling Sunset

A Selling Sunset Spin-Off Set in Orange County Is In The Works

The ultimate pandemic binge. Selling Sunset dropped on Netflix before the collective COVID-nightmare began. Seasons 2 and 3 were released during peak homebound boredom, thank the reality gods. Now, season four of the series just dropped on Netflix. So much has happened since season 3 premiered in August of 2020. This season features a pregnant Christine Quinn, a post-divorce Chrishell Stause, and two new real estate agents. The Oppenheim Group is welcoming Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan to the crew. The trailer depicts both newbies having issues with our glamazon, Christine. Should be interesting!

If you’re someone who is constantly craving more and more real estate porn and agent drama, rest easy. Variety recently announced a new spin-off of Selling Sunset called “Selling the OC.” The show will air on Netflix “some time next year.” The newest unscripted series was created by executive producer Adam DiVello. Even better, filming is already underway!

‘Selling the OC’ will follow Jason Oppenheim once again. He is expanding the Oppenheim Group after opening a second office in Newport Beach. Apparently, word on the gated-community street is that Heather Rae Young will be joining the new show. Unfortunately for any fiancé-obsessed-fans, there is no truth to the rumors. Instead, Alexandra HallAustin Victoria, and Brandi Marshall will be joining a few other agents to sell some coveted OC property.

It’s not yet confirmed whether Chrishell will be making any appearances on ‘Selling the OC’. ICYMI, Chrishell has been in the hot seat lately for her curious rebound relationship with Jason. I’m more interested in whether former real estate guru Tamra Judge will be making any cameos. Or what about Brandi Glanville who recently announced working towards her real estate license!?! Could you imagine?

The Selling Sunset craze will probably continue to boom from here. Earlier this year Netflix announced that they will also be airing a series featuring the Black women who work at Allure Realty in Florida. Unlike ‘Selling the OC’, this show features a realty company owned by military veteran, Sharelle Rosado. The announcement of this show made it clear that Sharelle “won’t let anyone or anything get in the way of making her dreams a reality.” And I won’t let anything get in the way of my viewership! Keep this trash-candy coming!
