Just in case her lifestyle wasn’t fabulous enough, Lisa Vanderpump is adding a little more glitz and glam to her repertoire! The restaurant owner, philanthropist, and star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been named Editor In Chief of the luxury magazine, Beverly Hills Lifestyle.
Lisa, who’s been involved with the magazine for seven years, says she loves writing, “as my fans know from my blogs,” and that her tenure as Editor In Chief is “going to be a passion project for me.” Beverly Hills Lifestyle caters to a readership who are interested in the finer points of travel, food, fashion, and “luxury lifestyle” (hey, Kyle Richards – they stole your mojo!).
After praising Kyle Richards’totally bizarre store party, Eileen addresses being accidentally invited to Lisa Vanderpump‘s Hong Kong trip. “The awkward invitation aside, Hong Kong is still something I’m looking forward to. Despite our past differences, I believe in stopping Yulin, and I do support LVP’s efforts to do so. That’s why I’m happy to spread the word with my ‘couple dozen followers.’ Isn’t Lisa Vanderpump cute?” she snarks.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, “we” had a baby (we’re included in this “we” because at this point we’re all basically Kim and KyleRichards‘ celestial family in twisted sister drama). “We” also planned a trip to Hong Kong to rescue dogs, and we also got our laps squished by an Instagram personality and his giant bottle of rosé.
Where I will let Kyle stand alone is in that awful dress she wore to the Kyle By AleneTwo book signing event. At least Eden Sassoon got the message and wore a kaftan. And Lisa Rinna, well she and her diarrhea stayed home. Erika Girardi also went home – on a private jet with a glam squad. I don’t know why Erika doesn’t cry more often because she has such a pretty cry face!
Dorit Kemsley may be one of the newest additions on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, but she seems to have learned the housewives diplomacy game quickly (Eden Sassoon, take note!). As evidence, her blog this week praises her allies and subtly shades her frenemies, yet doesn’t quite come out and accuse anyone of anything. Is Dorit playing fake politics? Or just playing it safe – and smart?
It seemed pretty obvious to me that this would be more of an Erika Jayne situation, but I figured she would mix a little bit of her every day life in with her DWTSpersona. Apparently, that’s not the case though. Erika will be all about the outrageous alter ego and I am all for it.
Eden has insisted over and over again that she was only “acting from a place of concern” since she can relate to Kim and Kyle’s dynamic since she is a sober woman whose her sister died from an overdose. On top of that, she was acting based on what Rinna told her instead of making decisions based on her own interactions with Kim and Kyle. Eden has not had a great reception from the RHOBHfandom, so it’s only natural that she would want to defend herself. But it’s definitely going to be an uphill battle for her…
After apologizing for not blogging last week, Lisa launches into her thoughts on Rinna “owning it” this week. She begins, “Now let us begin to understand exactly what has transpired here as we delve into the complicated scenario that we have witnessed, the murky quagmire, where truth is scant on the ground.”
Eileen Davidson admits she was shocked when Lisa Rinna finally confided the truth to her on this week’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. But she stands by her belief that her ally never “lied” about the truth – she simply didn’t remember until producers showed her the tape. Now that she has come clean with Kim Richards about her comments that Kim was not totally sober and was potentially near death, Eileen thinks Rinna deserves a break.
Eileen jokes, “It was a week of caviar, cheesecake and coming clean!” Before breaking down Rinna’s confession in her blog, she takes a moment to gush about Erika Girardi’s acting skills. “Erika continues to prove her acting chops. I’ve seen her read a few times now, and she always crushes it. Vinny joked that he wanted to manage Erika…not so fast, Vin! I discovered her first!”
