In the meantime, the 12th episode of the season airs tonight on Bravo at 10/9c. Titled “Fashion Victim,” Peggy orchestrates a surprise trip to Las Vegas with her husband. Also there to spin giddy in Sin City: Tamra and Eddie. Meanwhile, Gretchen corners Slade about the debt-related problems of their relationship. And a fashion show is held, but a medical emergency causes a no-show and mounting drama. A preview clip is below.
Meanwhile, the reunion was filmed this week on Tuesday though we can’t help but wonder how interesting it will be, you know, since most of the issues from this season were basically the rehashing of issues from past seasons. Andy Cohen however promises it will be the best OC reunion to date! “JUST wrapped the OC Reunion. I think it was our best OC reunion in 6 seasons. Really dramatic, tense, powerful, and emotional,” he tweeted. Uh uh.
The ladies seemed exhausted with the filming which took over 11 hours. “Holy shit get me out of here!!!! No more reunion taping PLZ,” tweetedTamra Barney. “Whoa long ass reunion show yesterday! Quite a crazy and emotional day! All us woman sure can fight!,” tweetedGretchen the next day. As for Peggy Tanous, she took issue with Bravo inviting Slade Smiley and not her husband Micah. She tweeted, “Shootin reunion. Can you all believe they only invited Slade to film & would not even allow Micah to be here with me. What do you all think?”
Some photos from the reunion below as well as some new photos of Alexis Bellinoas posted on her facebook page.

Howdy y’all! The Southerner in me has only one thing to say about Sunday’s Real Housewives of Orange County: Good gracious and bless their hearts…Alexis is wasted, Gretchen is hilarious, and Tamra is…human? Don’t shoot the messenger! Vicki continues to struggle with her feelings for Donn, and Peggy unwittingly finds herself in competition with (who else?) Alexis.
This episode, “Cutting Loose,” starts with Alexis and sidekick assistant Dylan shopping for cowboy boots for her upcoming trip to visit Gretchen in San Antonio, Texas. The poor salesman can’t find a boot with a high enough (or sexy enough) heel for Alexis’ taste, but at least she has on a pair of ridiculously tiny Daisy Duke shorts to counteract the conservative boot. Alexis is looking forward to the brief getaway from Jim and the kids, but admits she’s not a cowgirl or a girls’ trip kind of girl.

While Alexis touches on the issue on tonight’s upcoming episode, she also gave interviews to E! Online & Life & Style magazine. “I suffered from both anorexia and bulimia,” Alexis told E!. “It’s something like alcoholism…Suffering from an eating disorder you can’t go, ‘I’m cured, I’m completely cured,’ but you don’t have to practice it.”
Alexis, 34, reveals her parents’ divorce when she was 12 triggered the disorder. “My teacher called my mom and said she was worried I wasn’t eating,” said Alexis adding that things took a turn for the worse when she turned 18. “In college I would go days without eating, because it does consume you…I would do both, but mostly purging because I would be out with friends. It’s not pretty.”
Ultimately, Alexis decided to seek professional help to stop purging following the collapse of her first marriage in 2002. In 2005, she married her second husband, Jim Bellino who “finally got me to stop counting calories,” Alexis tells Life & Style. “He loves my body. In fact, he says he likes me about 5 pounds heavier.”
With her weight now fluctuating between 118 and 122 pounds, Alexis states she is now doing much better while acknowledging that an eating disorder is a lifelong issue. “It’s not like I’m healed,” she says. “It cannot be cured, but it doesn’t have to be practiced. My goal is to reach other women — and let them know that they can conquer it.”
The Life & Style article also stated that Alexis still watches her weight like a hawk, and that a typical day’s meal plan for her is less than 900 calories. However, two days after the Life & Style article came out, Alexis denied part of the story to the Rumor Fix. “Firstly, I never said I eat 900 calories a day. They asked me what my diet is like and I said that if I overdo it on one day, the next day I will cut back and eat healthier. They came up with that figure. The bowl of ice cream I just had with my kids is probably more than 900 calories! I don’t count my calories, ever,” she stated. Allrighty then.
Meanwhile, on the 11th episode of this season titled, “Cutting Loose,” antics and dramas accent a getaway to San Antonio during which Alexis cuts loose and candidly discusses her home life. In the OC, Tamra Barney’s court case against her ex-husband Simon Barney reaches a fever pitch—with former housewife Jeana Keough upping the drama by opining to the press. A preview clip is below.
The drama between Tamra and Jeana began last October, when Jeana went to the press proclaiming that Simon never hit Tamra. This was after Tamra accused Simon of domestic violence leading to Simon’s arrest though the charges were later dropped. Jeana referred to Tamra as ““very dramatic” and alleged she made up the domestic violence claims against Simon. Following Simon’s arrest, Tamra came out alleging Simon had abused her for years.
Watch What Happens Live - It’s alum night tonight with guests Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring!
And finally, Gretchen Rossi posted a new bikini pic of herself on her facebook page this week. That picture is below.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON ALEXIS’ COMMENTS & TONIGHT’S ALL NEW EPISODE?
The Real Housewives of Orange County star was snapped above on May 11 while shopping at Faith Connexion Melrose in LA with her new boyfriend. Yes you read that right, new boyfriend!
That uh lucky? man/Donn look alike is Brooks Ayers and eyewitnesses tell In Touch Weekly the couple looked “very happy and cute together.”
So why has Vicki, 48, been so secretive about her new relationship? Well it all has to do with Bravo. “Vicki hadn’t wanted to go public with Brooks just yet because on the show she’s still with Donn,” an insider tells Life & Style as viewers are still watching her marriage with Donn play out on this season.
“Brooks didn’t come in with her at first, he was waiting outside,” an eyewitness reveals “Then Vicki said, ‘My boyfriend’s in the car, is it okay if he comes in?’ They were all smiles and having a great time.” Sources also reveal that Brooks footed the bill for Vicki’s new clothes!
As for Brooks, he, like Vicki, also works in the insurance industry. He was reportedly “the first in line when he heard she was single. She seems super happy with him,” adds the source.
“Vicki will announce her split from Donn in the June 6 season finale,” reveals a second insider. Another photo of Brooks is below.
TELL US - SHOCKED VICKI WAS ABLE TO FIND A NEW MAN SO QUICKLY?THOUGHTS ON VICKI’S NEW BOYFRIEND?
Despite owing over $138,000 in back child support payments, it seems Slade has still yet to find a job. To make matters worse, the child in question is Slade’s son Grayson Smiley, who suffers from a rare form of brain cancer. Grayson’s mother Michelle Arroyois forced to deal with the piling medical bills as well as no financial support from Slade.
The court documents obtained by RadarOnline show that Slade stated his monthly income in 2010 was $416 a month, and in 2009, he had no income. And we have to ask, how can a man with a sick son go an entire year without working? Wowzers. Slade is still seeking to have his monthly child support payments to Michelle reduced from $3500.
“It appears he is currently living with his girlfriend,” the court papers stated. “The evidence shows that . . . in 2010 he earned $5,000 for participation in another television program.” Something tells us Slade is earning way more than just $5,000 to do the Real Housewives of OC. In fact, the OC Register reported last summer that Slade admitted in court that his Bravo payments were directed to Gretchen and re-directed to him to avoid mandatory deductions.
In the court papers, Slade also claims he is trying to find a job by attending numerous parties and social events with girlfriend Gretchen Rossi. Seriously folks. “(Smiley) testified regarding his various unsuccessful efforts to find work in the title insurance/real estate industry. He also testified regarding his various Facebook and Twitter entries showing his attendance at various public and social events. He essentially describes these activities as networking with the purpose of securing employment in the entertainment field.”
The judge has since ordered Slade “to expand his efforts beyond entertainment and title insurance/real estate, and to document his efforts by keeping a detailed log.” He is also required to contact at least five potential employers every two weeks.
And following the recent episode of the OC Housewives, in which Slade’s darling mother tried to convince him to try to get a real J-O-B, Gretchen is now defending her man via her recent Bravo blog. Below are excerpts from Gretchen’s blog this week in which she blames Slade’s depression about his son’s illness for his joblessness -
“When Slade’s son got sick, his focus was on keeping him alive and being with him. It went from working everyday to being in the hospital every day back then. This is something that Slade and I can truly relate to each other about. I did the same thing when Jeff got sick. I walked away from my thriving real estate career to be by Jeff’s side while he spent close to nine months in the hospital. When a family member gets sick, the only thing that seems to matter anymore is spending time with them and getting them well. Work certainly does not seem like a priority anymore. I honestly think Slade has just been so depressed about his son’s illness for a while now, and in some ways it has kept him from being everything he is capable of being. The medical bills seem endless, and it seems impossible to ever catch up with it all. When Slade realized that all his hard work of 18 years in the title business had been lost because of his time away with his son, I think his world crumbled financially, emotionally, and mentally, as you see him humbly address in this episode. It was a hard knock for him and a wake-up call.
The press and people stating that Slade is a deadbeat father is ridiculous. Just because a man can no longer pay $4,000 a month in support due to loss of a job and financial hardship does not make him a deadbeat father. Normally a man who is not present in a child’s life, doesn’t care, never sees them, neglects the child, or is abusive or demeaning to a child makes a deadbeat father. Let me be clear that financial inability to pay the same amount in child support due to external circumstances in no way makes a man a deadbeat father.”
Gretchen also goes on to blame the bad press as the reason Slade has yet to find a job. Yes, she did folks. “He submits resumes consistently to companies and has worked with head hunters, etc. Unfortunately the hard reality is that because of the false press that is out there, the second a employer googles his name an article stating that he is a deadbeat father is what they find,” wrote Gretchen. No word yet on when Gretchen will get tired of the constant embarrassment, stop thinking with what’s in between her legs, and start using her brain.
It was reported back in February that Slade’s drivers license was suspended on Jan. 8 due to the delinquent child support. And back in February of 2009, Slade was arrested for not paying his child support. He was released the same day after posting $10,000 bail.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST WITH SLADE & GRETCHEN’S COMMENTS?
This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County is pretty drama-free, relatively speaking. Peggy and Alexis continue to rehash and compete (with a photoshoot face-off being one of the night’s highlights), Tamra and Fernanda make nice, Vicki continues to struggle with her marriage issues, Gretchen heads to the Lone Star State to sell her wares, and Slade’s mom tells it like it is.
Tamra meets Lynne for lunch and Lynne asks if Tamra and Fernanda are an item. Tamra acts shocked but spills more of the details on the infamous kiss. She reveals that Eddie is convinced that Fernanda is in love with her. I am not so sure Eddie feels this way or if it’s more Tamra wanting him to feel that way, but regardless, we learn that the kiss did involve tongue, but thankfully, no “nipple tweaking.” Tamra always has a way with words.
Peggy goes to Alexis’ home to confront ask her why Jim wasn’t at the dinner party. In her interview prior to speaking with Alexis, Peggy says that as long as she’s known Jim “he’s never had a real job” so she’s not buying that “work” kept him from attending. Alexis is (finally) honest, admitting that Jim doesn’t want to hang out with the catty ladies any longer, and Peggy is hurt that Alexis didn’t feel as if she could tell her the truth earlier. Peggy presses to see if Jim has beef with she and Micah, and Alexis rambles on and on about how she’s too busy to have a social life, what with her perfect kids, and working out, and that whole fashion designer thing. Peggy brings up a time when Jim was very condescending to Micah about Micah’s lamborghini knowledge (seriously, who ARE these people??) and Alexis reminds Peggy that Jim has had four lamborghinis in the past. Ahhhh, now I get why this episode is called “It’s Not a Competition.”

As we reported months ago, Peggy and Micah’s home was in foreclosure after they defaulted on their home loan. Well fast forward to today, and Peggy is now suing three different banks, BAC Home Loans Servicing, U.S. Bank National and PNC Mortgage, in an effort to save her home. Peggy is claiming the banks didn’t honor a loan modification agreement.
According to RadarOnline, Peggy and Micah owe $1.3 million on the home with multiple mortgages. After purchasing the home in 2006, Peggy, 41, and Micah made payments on time for 2 years. They however began to experience financial difficulties and the payments on two loans became irregular. They have one mortgage for $1 million, and a second for $312,540 according to records. The couple also quit paying their Orange County property taxes but have since negotiated a payment for that.
In the court documents, Peggy claims she made a deal to pay interests only for 10 years but was shocked in November when the banks still filed a foreclosure notice. “(Peggy) is determined to keep the property,” the lawsuit states. “It is her family’s home, and she does not want to lose the Property in a foreclosure sale.”
Radar adds the home was last assessed at $875,000 in 2009, way down from the $1,379,000 they paid for it back in 2006.
As mentioned above, Peggy and hubby Micah have been shown on the show spending money on jewelry, plastic surgery, and parties, aka non-necessities, at the same time their home loan was being defaulted on. In fact, Peggy brags in the opening credits of the show about owning a Bentley. Peggy’s home was scheduled to go up for auction on March 17 but that was ultimately canceled. But hey, who needs a home to sleep in when you own a shiny Bentley!
Court records show Peggy’s home had a default notice dated Nov. 16, 2010, with the amount in default at $190,713.
Moving on to tonight’s all new episode of the OC housewives titled “It’s Not a Competition.” On the 10th episode of this season (yes, we’re already on episode 10!), Peggy and Alexis discuss their ever-fraying relationship, but their conversation only creates more tension. Meanwhile, Slade’s mother arrives and corners him about his job status; and Vicki and Peggy gather for some wine and whine.
The episode airs at 10/9c and a preview clip is below.
Sunday night’s Real Housewives of the O.C. focused on Peggy and Micah’s dinner party and w(h)ine pairings. Tamra and Vicki added a new “mean girl” to their clique in the form of Donn, Gretchen dodged digs aimed at an absent Slade, Alexis spent the evening crying (and lying!), while Peggy sat back and wondered why her dinner party was so full of drama. (Peggy, here’s a hint– check out your guest list).
The episode begins with delicious looking food preparation. Oh look! It’s Mary Sue Milliken of this season’s Top Chef Masters! Subtle, Bravo. Peggy Tanous and her husband Micah are diligently watching over the people who are actually setting up and decorating for their dinner party. The two spend a lot of time name-dropping high end clothing, watches, and cars while getting ready together.
Slade Smiley’s child support woes have just become headlines in the O.C. (I had to remind myself that it was filmed several months ago), and Gretchen has given up her usual grating laugh for near tears as she explains the “real story” to her hairdresser. Not surprisingly we discover that Slade won’t be attending the dinner because he’ll be at home painting naked spending time with his children.
