Lauren Conrad takes on Heidi and Spencer Pratt over their fame seeking ways in next month’s edition of Harper’s Bazaarmagazine. She also makes mention of her former BFF’s boob job. When asked why Heidi posed in September’s issue of Playboy, Lauren cleverly made reference to Heidi’s cosmetic enhancements saying, “They’re not going to pay for themselves.”
She doesn’t stop there. “I don’t call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories,” she says of the Pratts. “There was never an incentive to keep doing The Hills so I could get into [Hollywood club] Les Deux. That was never the point. It was more to create a fan base so I can go create a business and do something I really love doing.” Lauren however goes on to say she finds both Heidi and Spencer to be very entertaining and funny to watch.
In the inteview, she mentions how her life has changed since The Hills and the price of fame. One of the drawbacks of fame according to Lauren include being unable to take part in regular activities, like having a normal relationship or planning a vacation.
“My roommate went to Europe for two months, but I couldn’t take a vacation without clearing it months and months ahead of time,” she says. “My friends all got to date guys who didn’t need to sign a release form.”
“The last three concerts I went to, I was removed by security because I was a fire hazard,”adds Lauren. “People crowd around you and you lose that whole personal-space concept.”
In the photo shoot, Laura wore a brown wig which will be donated to a young girl undergoing chemotherapy in the Detroit area.
Heidi Pratt has worn many hats ranging from The Hills star, musician (if you can call her that), fashion designer, to posing for playboy and now a fitness expert. Heidi recently announced the release of her fitness video, The Heidi Workout. In addition to workout tips, the Heidi workout will also provide nutritional advice based on guidelines developed with trainer Chad Waterbury.
Another reality star-turned fitness guru, Kim Kardashian also invites you all to tone up using her Fit in Your Jeans byFriday series.

Lauren Conrad, former star of The Hillshas a lot to celebrate nowadays. The first being her smart decision to leave the fake reality show, with the second being her book making it to the New York best seller list.
People is reporting that her debut novel, L.A. Candy, has now topped the New York Times Best Seller list two weeks in a row.
“If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn’t have believed it,” says Lauren. “I am so honored that it is now a reality.”
L.A. Candy is loosely based on Conrad’s own life. The main character of the book, Jane Roberts, is a 19-year-old girl who moves to Hollywood and ends up as the star of her own reality show. Congrats to Lauren on her new found success.
TELL US – WILL YOU CONTINUE TO WATCH THE HILLS WITHOUT LAUREN?
Audrina Patridge is one step closer to having her reality show air on MTV. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Hills star’s new series is currently in development at MTV.
The new reality show is titled The Audrina Showand is being produced by Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice). The Audrina Show will focus on her personal and professional life. Umm what professional life?
Audrina’s final episodes of The Hills will begin airing in the fall and will also feature former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.
First it was Kristin Cavallari all but confirming that MTV’s The Hills is fake. Now it’s Lauren Conrad’s turn. Lauren appeared on the View yesterday, and surprisingly admitted that the infamous apology phone call she received from Spencer Pratt was fake. She said she was not on the other line for that phone call.
Lauren was asked by Elisabeth Hasselbeck, “Did you feel like it was a sincere apology when it came from him?” Lauren smiled, paused and rolled her eyes before answering – “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,” Conrad replied. “That was filmed, and I wasn’t on the other end. So I didn’t even know about it until [it was on TV]. So, no, I didn’t get an apology. He lied.”
So why did she agree to go to their wedding if she never got an apology?
“It’s hard to understand now, but a long time ago — years ago — we moved here together, and we were best friends, and we used to say, ‘Some day at our wedding….,'” Conrad said. “I just felt like it was a few hours of my time, and as much as I didn’t agree with it, I might some day regret not doing it.”
So basically Spencernever apologized for spreading those sex tape rumors. MTV should just go ahead and call this show a soap opera instead of a reality show. Are people still watching this show? I pretty much stopped watching a few seasons back.
Just when you thought they were gone for good, Heidi and Spencer Pratt have decided one more time that they need more attention.
The two Hills stars will be returning toI’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! again, Usmagazine confirms, despite several attempts to quit before officially leaving the show on June 8.
They will both be joining the entire cast of the NBC reality series on the June 25 finale. They will also be joined by Heidi’s sister, Holly Montag, who made her debut on the I’m a Celebrity last week.
Holly and JaniceDickinson were both eliminated from last night’s episode.
The Hills star, Stephanie Pratt, talks to Us Weekly magazine this week about hating her body and her terrifying secret struggle with bulimia.
Stephanie opens up about her eating disorder for the first time, saying it was sparked by the pressure of appearing alongside her super-thin friends on the hit MTV reality show. I’m guessing the “super thin” friends would have to include Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Pratt, and pretty much every female that ever appeared on The Hills.
Stephanie, who is described as being 5-foot-7 also reveals to US that she began bingeing and purging after watching a scene she shot with Lauren Conrad in 2007 after first joining the cast: “I was horrified. I remember saying, ‘I can’t believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.'”
The cover story also teases about how Stephanie once attempted suicide. Hmm, will be reserving my personal comments on this one.
