Back pedal, back pedal, back pedal! If Brandi Glanville was back pedaling any faster, she'd be going in reverse! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been in some hot water with her "friends" lately after "repeating" gossip regarding Lisa Vanderpump's finances and trying to pin it on Kyle Richards. She's now weighing in on what happened between Kyle and Carlton Gebbia and that blue-skull-peace-offering-washed-to-get-rid-of-bad-ju-ju-is-it-a-ring-or-a-crown-do-we-care situation. Ridiculous. Of course, Brandi is calling it like she sees it, but this time around, she's quick to insert compliments and let us know just how much she loves this group of women. Even Lisa.
Taking to her Bravo blog, Brandi begins with a little self-deprecating humor. I guess she figures if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. She begins, "Let me just start by saying after seeing my spray tan, I am definitely getting back into the gym to work on my mommy pooch. At this point Kim [Richards] and I were getting very close, and I really am happy to have come such a long way with her from when we first met." And they certainly have done a complete one-eighty from the crutch stealing and meth accusations, haven't they? Such cute biffles!
The fallout from Kenya Moore’s charity event is getting messier by the minute!
Earlier today Saving Our Daughters released a statement, sharing that they had not received any donations from Kenya’s fundraiser masquerade ball – aside from a $500 one for their annual doll drive. Kenya is firing back tonight with proof ..sort of?
Kenya turned to lovebscott.com to share texts between her and the head of Saving Our Daughters and also to show off some receipt proof of how much she donated and how much spent on the event. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star coughed up a canceled check for $500 – possibly the check for the toy drive and a few other receipts for some of the costs of the party. She claims she spent $10,000 on the event when all was said and done.
Update: Saving Our Daughters has removed the statement from their website.
We're sad to hear that Kenya Moore did not donate the money raised at her charity event in NeNe Leakes' honor! This was confirmed this afternoon by Saving Our Daughters.
The organization released a statement this afternoon. First, they confirm that NeNe is indeed a strong supporter of their charity. Second, they confirm that they have NOT receive any monies raised in their name at Kenya's event that was shown on last week's episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Their statement begins: "On February 16, 2014, Saving Our Daughters was mentioned on the episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta as being honored with a fundraiser on its behalf. Our charity was contacted by publicist April Love to get approval and give notice of this upcoming event. Much to our delight, we were indeed honored to be chosen. After all, one of our largest financial contributors, Mrs. NeNe Leakes who has been responsible for contributions in the thousands of dollars throughout the years, is a member of the cast."
In Palm Springs, Reza proposed to his boyfriend, Adam Neely. He said yes!
"Turning forty was mentally difficult for me," Reza shared. "I started to compare and contrast my achievements and place in life against my friends and family. Being gay, there really wasn't a road map for a future. I had to lay the stones on my road brick by brick. I came to the realization that I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I started looking at Adam differently and I knew that it was time to let him know how important he is to me."
The former Couples Therapy star was rushed to the hospital after she collapsed where an emergency surgery was performed to save her life.
"I'm still working from the ICU. This has been the toughest week of my life, but my love for Shayne Lamas has grown tremendously," husband Nik Richie shared of Shayne's condition. "My wife is a true fighter. Her heart gave out on Valentine's Day and we had to start the rehabilitation process all over again."
She starts off, "I’ll start by saying I apologize for my behavior at the charity event. I definitely don’t want to teach young women that this is the proper way to respond when someone is trying to trick you into a situation and push your buttons. I would much rather teach young women to be aware of the wolves in sheep’s clothing."
NeNe reiterates that this charity event was not to honor NeNe – it was for Kenya's own thrills. "Kenya used the charity’s name for her own selfish reasons."
