Joe Budden

Rocky and Janice talk sex on Couples Therapy

That’s right, sex talk! Because that is always the most exciting part of a relationship, right? Kidding (or am I?)…after overcoming their childhood trauma last time on Couples Therapy, Dr. Jenn wanted to hear all about the couples’ adventures in the bedroom, or at least how their sex lives were going. And it was definitely, um, interesting to say the least. In fact, you may be shocked to hear who was embarrassed to even talk about it. And even more exciting this week was a surprise marriage proposal!

However, before I get to all those juicy details, there was another matter that needed to be dealt with – Scott Stapp’s father. Dr. Jenn managed to get Scott’s father to come to the house for a face to face meeting with his son for the first time in many, many years. Needless to say it was emotional for both, but did Scott get the closure that he so desperately longed for? You’ll have to come inside to find out!

Adrian Torres Couples Therapy

Each week on Couples Therapy, we’ve been watching as all of the couples transform their lives and their relationships – well, almost all of them, that is. A few are still in need of some serious help, but perhaps this week would be the week we would see some more changes? Absolutely! This week, it was all about over coming their trauma from childhood and moving forward.

And if a serious group session discussing all of the traumatic events wasn’t enough, beating the crap out of their pasts certainly was. I’ll get to that later. First, the group sat down with Dr. Jenn to discuss what has been influencing their relationships from their past. You’re not going to want to miss this.

Big Ang and Neil Couples Therapy

Last week on Couples Therapy, we watched as Joe returned to the house, and did his best to explain what happened, hoping that everyone would give him the benefit of the doubt that he is not a woman beater. Woman beater or not though, Joe and Kaylin’s problems were far from over. We were also shocked to watch as Carmen took over the “shut the hell up already award,” but that was all about to change.

This week, Dr. Jenn’s goal was to determine who wore the pants in the relationship, and guess what? And though we already know who does in each relationship, it was time for the couples to exchange the power. Needless to say, that did not go over well for some, but for others, it was a nice surprise! Get all the details after the jump.

Joe Returns To Couples Therapy

Last week on Couples Therapy, we were left hanging with Joe’s return to the house and being immediately jumped on by Janice, who claimed she waited up out of concern for him. Joe, and everyone else with half of a brain could tell that was nothing but bullshit, and Janice kept pushing and pushing Joe to admit that he is nothing more than a woman beater. Joe stood his ground though, claiming he never hit anyone and that perhaps, what everyone “heard” was not true.

Now, as much as I am not a fan of Joe, I can’t possibly be the only who has noticed how cool and calm he is, even when mad? Perhaps I am missing something, but that certainly doesn’t scream “woman beater” to me. Of course, there is always more than one side to a story. And Scott Stapp hit the nail on the head last night when he told the others, “There is her side, his side, and the actual truth.” But would Dr. Jenn be able to get to the truth?

Big Ang and her husband Neil on Couples Therapy

The wait is over! Last night was the season 6 premiere of Couples Therapy, and let me start by telling you that is was definitely chock full of dramatics. Joining Dr. Jenn this season are Mob Wives star Big Ang and her husband Neil, Creed front man Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn, Love and Hip Hop’s Joe Budden and his on again off again girlfriend Kaylin, transgender model Carmen Carrera and her husband Adrian, as well as outspoken model and television personality Janice Dickinson and her beau, Rocky.

Arriving at the house, almost all of the couples seemed to be there for the right reasons, except for one, but we’ll get into that one later. Carmen and Janice seemed to form an immediate friendship, and Janice ended up being the first person that Carmen told about her gender, while the rest of the house had no clue. But what happened when her big secret was revealed? You don’t want to miss this!

Janice Dickinson joins Couples Therapy season 6

Couples Therapy is back – and per the usual some our favorite reality stars from other shows are migrating to Dr. Jenn in the hopes of salvaging their relationships! Apparently people need reality television cameras for that… (complains I who relishes in watching!). In the newly released super teaser VH1 teases all the major breakdowns, arguments, tears, and tantrums.

Season 6 promises to be “the most explosive ever” but is also endearing. Featuring reality television veterans such as Janice Dickinson (fresh from Celebrity Big Brother!) and Big Ang of Mob Wives fame. This season confronts serious issues such as gender identity, drug and alcohol abuse, and domestic violence. When the cast learns Carmen Carrera is transgender, predictably (and very unfortunately) not everyone is accepting.

LHH Tahiry Jose

Three quick lessons that y’all already know: 1) People are stupid; 2) It’s disgusting what people think they can get away with when it comes to deplorable behavior; and 3) If there’s a Love & Hip Hop franchise that isn’t airing at the moment, its stars will still make headlines. No new information.

With Love & Hip Hop Atlanta ending just this week (I miss you already, Dee!), and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood premiering it’s latest season on Monday, who is even thinking about the original series? It’s filming now so we won’t have to go a week without VH1’s guiltiest pleasure. Thank goodness! However, one half of New York’s most ridiculous couple has landed in the news. Tahiry Jose was allegedly attacked at New York Fashion Week.
