First Bruce Jenner got sued, now Caitlyn Jenner is being sued as well. The reality star has been hit with another lawsuit related to the fatal car accident she was involved in on the Pacific Coast Highway back in February.
This week Bruce Jenner officially announced her new identity as Caitlyn Jenner with an gorgeous Vanity Fair cover. This moving and amazing milestone opens up a lot of questions because of Caitlyn’s amazing life of accomplishments as Bruce! Most notably the Gold Medal Caitlyn, then Bruce, won for the decathlon in the infamous 1976 Olympics.
While some bigoted groups are campaigning to have Caitlyn stripped of her medal, the US Olympic Committee and Hall Of Fame is thankfully taking the opposite response! Caitlyn was inducted back in 1986, but her former name “Bruce” is attached to the honor.
It’s been a busy twenty four hours for the Kardashian-Jenner crew. First Kim Kardashian announced her second pregnancy and then Bruce came along and stole her thunder when Vanity Fair released the first photos of him as Caitlyn Jenner, complete with new Twitter handle and all. Caitlyn isn’t the only one gracing a magazine cover in July. Kim landed a spread in Glamour magazine, where she talked about fertility struggles, not being a role model, hateful internet comments and so much more.

We all know that the Keeping up with the Kardashian klan loves nothing more than being followed around by kamera krew filming their every waking breath, but besides the obvious, what kreates the hierarchy of the family’s favorite ways to garner attention? Following at a close second behind being E!’s own EdTV is obviously dressing your child in an outfit that costs more than the average person’s salary and finding new ways to pose nude in every publication known to man. Of course, all of the Kardashians also adore posting vague, yet poignant (and often pointed) quotes on Instagram, but more so than that, they relish in stirring up drama on the same social media site.
Doing both this week is the most level-headed (it pains me to type that) Kardashian, Khloe. She’s using her Instagram to inspire and to insult, although I think the latter was unintentional (albeit totally stupid on her part!). Khloe is quite the kontradiction, isn’t she?
For comparison’s sake, part three of the season 6 reunion logged 4.29 million viewers and the season 6 average was 3.87 million viewers. While the decline is troublesome, IMHO, Real Housewives of Atlanta still brings more viewers to Bravo than the others in the franchise. Case in point: this week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York attracted just 1.385 million viewers.
The reality TV viewer numbers are in and ready to be analyzed. Teen Mom OG saw its third increase in a row with 1.855 million tuning in this week. The mid-season finale of Dance Moms garnered 1.451 million viewers, bringing the season five average to 1.57 million viewers. For comparison’s sake, the season four finale attracted 1.619 million and the season average was 1.84 million.
Kourtney Kardashian is by-far the most ‘normal’ of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians clan – she’s also the most down-to-earth. The mother of three is also predominantly behind most of the Kardashians fashion ventures, particularly their new Kardashian Kids collection which is launching at Nordstroms. In a new interview Kourtney talks motherhood, welcoming a third baby, working with her famous family, and how all kids have their own style.
First of all, it’s important to know that fashion and materialism has always been a part of the Kardashian family values, Kourtney reminisces about playing dress-up in Kris Jenner‘s closet and how her mom has influenced her perspectives. “I remember playing in my mom’s closet with Kim as little girls—we had this game we played, I was Donna Karan and she was my assistant, and I was really bossy,” Kourtney says. “We would always hear my mom talk about designers, and she had all this designer vintage, but it wasn’t vintage at the time—a lot of Chanel—such great clothes, shoes, jewelry. We had so much fun playing in her closet. My daughter already tries on my shoes, and she plays with my makeup. It’s fun, but it brings out the girlier side in me knowing that I’m a role model for her.”
