You know it’s bad when a show sounds like a major train wreck before it even airs. Not surprisingly, that seems to be the case with the third season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thanks to Taylor Armstrong, queen of the psychotic meltdowns…as evidenced last season. Already there have been reports of her heavy drinking, even getting wasted at Kyle Richards’ daughter’s birthday. Also disturbing about her behavior at the toddler’s party? It occurred in front of Taylor’s young daughter Kennedy. Now there are new reports of Taylor’s disturbing antics being filmed on a recent spa weekend to Ojai, California.
A source tells RadarOnline.com, “Taylor was wasted from the moment she appeared in the morning until the moment she collapsed at night. It was a horrific sight to see. She totally lost control of her emotions and her temper. She is an absolute complete mess, but she refuses to acknowledge that she has a problem.”
Poor Taylor Armstrong! It seems nothing is working out for poor loony lips as she is desperate to hang onto both her reality show gig and her pennies!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed against her by MyMedicalRecords.com. I’m sure you remember, Taylor and her late husband Russell Armstrong were accused of defrauding investors and misappropriating their funds, which they then used to fund a “lavish lifestyle.” Well, some of that money has never been recovered and MMRGlobal wants Taylor to pay up to the tune of $1.5M.
I guess Taylor feels she could use that money elsewhere – like on more injections and botox? – and so her lawyer filed a petition to dismiss the suit. RadarOnline reports that Judge Frederick Shaller denied the motion citing Team Taylor did not meet “its burden of proof.”
“All the circumstances existing at the time of the making of the contract are considered, including the relationship that the damages proved in the contract bear to the range of harm that reasonably could be anticipated at the time of the making of the contract,” his ruling explains.
Oops. Foiled again Tay-Tay! Hope you’ve been saving your paychecks!
DID THE JUDGE MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION? SHOULD TAYLOR HAVE TO PAY UP?
In your daily dose of Housewives news, we can report that there’s a new and super-wealthy lady joining the cast of RHOBH.
Radaronline.com is reporting that Yolanda Hadid, Dutch model and fourth wife of award-winning music producer David Foster, has officially joined the lavish cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It seems, as well, that Yolanda has an automatic “in” as she’s known Lisa Vanderpump for years. And we all saw how well a long friendship played out for Lisa and Adrienne Maloof!
A source reveals, “What most people don’t realize is that Yolanda was married to Lisa’s very good friend, Mohamed Hadid. Mohamed has appeared several times on the show, including during the last season when he threw an over the top engagement party for Lisa’s daughter, Pandora. Yolanda is going to make an excellent addition to the cast and she can definitely hold her ground if the claws come out; she is no shrinking violet.” I wonder if there will be any scenes with Yolanda, Mohamed, and Mo’s robot teen girlfriend. I’d certainly tune in for that!
The new season, which presumably premieres this fall, will be missing original cast member Camille Grammer, who, sources say, refused to be filmed with her boyfriend for a story line. Relegated to special appearances, producers need to vamp up the cast in light of Camille’s absence.
“I’m growing and I’m really just focused on Kennedy and learning how to be a single woman and a single mom,” she shared. “I’m just so not ready.” Taylor admits it’s because she still isn’t over Russell Armstrong. “I still think about Russell every single day, and I still miss him terribly and I feel like I’m so far from ready. I don’t know if you just wake up and you’re ready, or how that works. But for me, for now, I really got some growing to do, I think, before I’ll be even ready to be a good judge of what’s good for me.”
Well, perhaps the reason Taylor isn’t ready to focus on a new relationship is she has bigger things to worry about – like a looming $1.5M lawsuit filed against her and her now deceased husband by MyMedicalRecords.com and NuWay Digital Services (NDS). Taylor heads to court this summer and it seems things are heading down a pretty treacherous path.
Today a routine hearing related to the case takes place. MMR alleges that Taylor was a willfully involved party, along with Russell, in pocketing missing investor monies and assisted in failing to disclose certain investors to MMR as part of a settlement agreement between the Armstrongs and MMR. They also state that Taylor misrepresented herself as being a member of the famous Ford Motor Family in order to “lure” investors. We all know this, but it’s worth repeating for scandal’s sake.
The media has been buzzing with news regarding the upcoming season ofThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so of course those ladies who love cameras and interviews have been out in full force. Taylor Armstrong, who is promoting her new book Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within, has recently revealed that she was floored to learn that her young daughter Kennedy knew about the abuse she endured at the hands of late husband Russell Armstrong.
Taylor discusses her conundrum in a recent interview with HollywoodLife.com. She states that Kennedy inquired why Taylor could miss her father when he “beat her all the time.” Tragic, to say the least. Taylor says she replied, “I said, ‘You know what, you’re right. Your daddy had a bad temper and that wasn’t okay, but he loved you very much.’”
When trying to explain Russell’s relationship with his young daughter, Taylor reveals, “He never acted out towards my daughter. I try to reinforce ‘Your daddy loves you, and I know he misses you.’”
Going in depth about her past, Taylor admits, “The cycle of violence is a really interesting thing. It happens in a lot of relationships. You think you can change someone, and you can’t. You think that if they hit you for one reason or verbally abuse you for one reason and you don’t do that behavior again that it won’t happen again, and that’s not the case. They will always look for something new.” I am not a Taylor fan, but knowing people who have been in similar situations, I have to agree with her statement.
Meanwhile, Taylor isn’t ready to jump back into the dating pool. She says, “I’m just so happy being single and loving my little girl and being so present with her.” Taylor continues, “If you read my story, I’ve had a boyfriend since the time I was in the sixth grade and for me to be 40 and be so fine with being alone is beautiful. I just flew back from a vacation with my little girl, and we had the most fun that we’ve had in so long.” And go buy her book!
In other news from Beverly Hills, it has been reported that Kim Richards will be returning for the upcoming season. Now an insider is coming forward and telling Radaronline.com that Kim is trying to get healthy while maintaining the Bravo paycheck.
The source reveals, “Kim needs the money because she has no other way to support herself and her children. She does receive child support from several different men who fathered her kids. Kim was able to negotiate a better salary for the upcoming season, she got a $10k raise. Kim truly didn’t want to do another season because she is still extremely vulnerable and dealing with her sobriety.” This is the opposite of Kim’s friends who say she wanted her recovery documented to help others who may be struggling.
Someone “close to the women” shares that all the women “received a modest raise to come back and do season three. Taylor Armstrong has also become dependent on the show for the income and will be earning around $127,000 for the entire season. None of the cast is paid over $165k for a season of work. People might be surprised to learn how little the women earn from the show, this isn’t per episode, but for an entire season, which Bravo dictates the terms of how long the filming will be for.”
The same source continues, “The ladies won’t get rich from doing the show, but feel the exposure and publicity they get from appearing will be the big payoff. Look at Bethenny Frankel, she never earned more than $100k for being a cast member on the New York Housewives franchise of the show, and she just sold her Skinny Girl alcoholic beverage line for millions of dollars.” Is said source Andy Cohen?
The insider tells the site that everyone involved in next season “seem[s] very excited to begin filming the third season of the show. However, they were all extremely sad and disheartened that Camille Grammer won’t be back, she truly has been the heart and soul of the show. There will be at least two new Housewives on the Beverly Hills cast this season, Bravo hasn’t officially decided who they will be yet.”
Perhaps, said insider isn’t as inside as he/she hoped! Regardless, I am torn on both Taylor and Kim returning. I am not on the hateful Taylor bandwagon (but please know I’m not a fan either). If her allegations are true (and I tend to think they are, regardless of how I feel about how she’s handled things since), I don’t think she is doing herself, or her daughter any favors by letting her life play out on television. Similarly, watching Kim’s breakdown wasn’t entertaining, it was cringe-worthy. I just wish these women would take the time to heal themselves and their families out of the spotlight.
Speaking of someone who is doing just that, Camille is still having issues with her new boyfriend’s ex, and finds herself unwittingly at the center of their custody battle. Her beau Dimitri Charalambopoulosrecently obtained a restraining order against his son’s mother, Lisa Chynoweth. Now Lisa is fighting back, wanting to move their son from Texas to Colorado…closer to her family and farther from his father.
Radaronline.com is reporting that Lisa submitted a sworn declaration to the court, stating, “I do not believe it is in the best interest of our son to be subject to the social media, paparazzi, and social pressures of the type of lifestyle his father has chosen to live. Because of Camille Grammar’s publicizing her relationship with Dimitri on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dimitri is now being referred to all over the Internet as a ‘Boy Toy’..This negative publicity is harmful and devastating to the self-image of our nine-year-old son.”
However, a source close to Camille is quick to point out that her relationship with Dimitri is why she decided not to return to RHOBH, as producers wanted “her to have Dimitri on the show, and have their relationship play out on camera, along with her children.”
The source states, “Camille was steadfast on her decision to not put that part of her life on the show, and she ended up walking away…No one told her to do that, not a judge, her lawyers, Dimitri, that was Camille’s decision.” Further, “Camille has never met Marcus! Camille thinks it’s just too soon to meet him, even though she has been dating his dad for almost eight months. Camille is fully supportive of Dimitri’s relationship with Marcus, and would love to meet him one day when it’s appropriate.”
The insider continues, “Camille has been through her own custody battle with her two children, and her ex-husband, Kelsey Grammer, and Camille knows that the children come first, period. Dimitri can’t believe how down to earth and level headed Camille is, it’s not what he has been used to at all.”
I am glad to hear that Camille is taking the high road with this situation and her life. Who knew that the most vilified season one housewife could make such positive turn-around?
THOUGHTS ON TAYLOR’S INTERVIEW? DO YOU THINK KENNEDY WAS AWARE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND HER? SHOULD TAYLOR RETURN? SHOULD KIM RETURN? COULD BEING ON A REALITY SHOW HINDER HER RECOVERY? COMMENTS ON CAMILLE’S RECENT DRAMA?
While the ladies of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills are deep into the pre-season casting charade they all do before contracts get signed, some very interesting news has leaked about former villain and now “laid-off” housewife Camille Grammer.
As said on the reunion, Camille has been very happily dating a younger man, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, who had yet to make it on-screen. A taped video deposition of Dimitri posted to Radar Online may give us a clue why he was so camera-shy. Like every other housewife boyfriend, Dimitri has baby mamma drama. In the following video, Dimitri is being deposed by his girlfriend Lisa Chynoweth‘s lawyers in Dallas. Lisa apparently wants to move her son to Colorado.

“Taylor’s appearances on Housewives will be greatly reduced,” a source reveals to HollywoodLife. “The producers want to make room for two new housewives.” The new wives are reportedly Yolanda Hadid and Marisa Zanuck.
“For all we know, Taylor might just quit the show if her role is diminished too much. That’s what happened to Camille Grammer. She said ‘Forget it,’ when she found out she would hardly be in the next season,” the source shares.
“The producers don’t want to concentrate on Taylor anymore,” the source continues. “They want a fresh start and new storylines.” And given the fan reaction to Taylor, particularly this past season, it’s perhaps in the show’s best interest to move in a more positive direction.
Which is why the embattled Kim Richards is also being added into the Friends of Housewives category. “Kim will also make some appearances, be they will be minimal,” the source explains.
The even better news, is that regardless of whether Taylor quits–or is fired–we likely won’t be seeing her on TV anywhere else! “All the housewives have signed two-year contracts with Bravo. So even if Taylor doesn’t come back, she can’t do another reality show for at least another year — and same goes for Camille and Kim.”
Moving on, Russell Armstrong is in the news again. Before his death, Russell took out a $1 Million dollar life insurance policy and named his ex-wife Barbara Fredrickson the trustee for an insurance trust that would benefit Russell’s eldest son.
The policy holder, American General Life Insurance Co. filed a claim in California Superior Court requesting a judge determine whether Barbara is in fact the entitled beneficiary who retains the rights to the policy, OR if it should be turned over to the estate of Russell Armstrong, aka The Armstrong Family Trust. The Armstrong Family Trust is reportedly held in an off-shore Cook Island account. And guess who allegedly presides over that account? If you guessed, Taylor – you guessed correctly!
In fact, Taylor is currently being sued by MyMedicalRecords for hiding missing investor monies. Their attorneys believe much of that money is possibly being sheltered in that same account.
But back to the life insurance policy, according to Courthouse News Service, American General is “ready, willing and able to pay the life insurance proceeds” but that “there are actual and conflicting claims relating” to the policy.
Barbara believes she is still entitled to that money, and submitted claim for the policy on January 9, 2012. Unfortunately, “Upon review of the claim, American General contacted Fredrickson requesting a copy of the trust agreement to facilitate payment of the death benefit. Fredrickson has been unable to locate a copy of any trust created by decedent.”
“Therefore, there existed no written appointment of Fredrickson as trustee. American General is informed and believes and on that basis alleges that Russell Armstrong never created an irrevocable life insurance trust for the benefit of A.A. prior to his death.” A.A. denotes Russell’s son, Aiden Armstrong, 13.
Barbara is unable to prove she is legally entitled to the money, because she no longer has the deed (if said deed ever existed), it will be distributed to the Armstrong estate – unless a judge rules in Barbara’s favor. The money has already been turned over to the court, who will then distribute it to its rightful owner following deliberation.

WILL TAYLOR LEAVE RHOBH? ARE YOU SURPRISED KIM AND TAYLOR’S ROLES ARE BEING REDUCED? THOUGHTS ON RUSSELL’S LIFE INSURANCE POLICY – IS BARBARA THE RIGHTFUL BENEFICIARY?
In a recent interview, loony lips discussed the differences between reality television and reality. Which is interesting, because I really question if she knows!
Taylor claims, the drama viewers see is completely unscripted, and the emotions and relationships are authentic. “We don’t have writers, so everything is just us interacting with one another,” Taylor explains, speaking to Discover San Diego, “but the real conflict that occurs is all on our own, as much as I’m embarrassed to say that,” she laughs.
“All of our relationship drama is very real. Unfortunately, our lives are not cookie cutter like people expected Beverly Hills to be. So I’m happy in a way that people have been able to see so much of how real these women are and that we really care about each other,” she continues.
“And the fact that we get so emotional is because we are truly invested in each other’s lives and we are a part of each other’s lives.” Taylor is glad the show is able to capture those fun moments, as well. “Any time we are all just having fun together, it makes me so happy to see, because we do have our ups and downs and we’ve all been through a lot together.”
And without her friendships to these ladies, Taylor doesn’t know how she would have survived last season’s dramatic storyline; which she believes was so intense because she was willing to expose more of her life on camera. Taylor claims, season one Taylor was a Taylor hiding from reality and viewers got to see a big difference in her authenticity in season two. “When I watched season one of the show, I really didn’t like me, and I was just a shell of myself,” she reveals.
Taylor blames her late husband, Russell Armstrong, of course. “I was trying to keep so much of my personal life off television that I was — it looked like me in some respects, but the way I was dressing and acting didn’t seem anything like me. And that was a real wake-up call, to see how much of myself I had lost in my relationship. And also seeing my relationship play out on television.”
“Although I knew there were things that were wrong, I could see such a difference between the way, just in our physical space together, how we interacted versus other couples on the show. It brought to light a lot, and I think was one of the biggest catalysts for us going into treatment and therapy in the beginning of last year.”
She calls this season, actual reality and says it was impossible to keep the unflattering and emotional parts of her life away from the cameras. “I was just such a mess this last year, I really was just falling apart and I wasn’t able to keep everything that was going on in my personal life under wraps any longer. I knew too many things were going to come out in the press. And so I really was falling apart, and it was happening as much off camera as it was on,” she describes.
Taylor is not disappointed she was on national TV working through her crisis, if anything she feels it’s a poignant reminder of how far she’s come. “I feel like unfortunately that was an accurate portrayal of the state I was in. And in season one, I was just putting on a facade of who I thought people wanted to see, instead of really letting them into my life. Now that my life is just an open book, it’s a much better place to be.”
Taylor credits the show for giving her the courage to expose the truth behind her marriage, and for allowing her to be a voice for domestic violence, although she is shocked by fan reaction to her storyline. “It is surprising at times, because you don’t know how it’s all going to play out and you don’t know what people are saying about you when you’re not around. So that can be surprising,” she says of watching the shows and then learning of viewers’ reactions.
According to Taylor, the best part of being a Real Housewife is the good moments the cameras have captured; particularly Kennedy‘s opulent birthday parties. Taylor also believes the show has given her a platform to really advocate for domestic violence victims, and she has starting her own foundation to further the cause; The Taylor Armstrong Foundation.
The Taylor Armstrong Foundation is a 501 c3 a not-for-profit, that helps local shelters around the country.
