Casting Rumors For Love & Hip Hop Atlanta!

Let's take a quick poll, shall we? What would you rather watch–the original Love & Hip Hop or the astonishingly crazy, can't look away train wreck that is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta? I don't even need to tally the votes. VH1 needs to learn that if it's going to air a scripted, polished soap opera while calling it a reality show, we need to see more craziness a la Joseline. Am I right?

While most viewers are politely watching this season, I can't help but think that they are doing so out of respect for the new member of the L&HH franchise. If we're going to watch fake reality television, the network should be decent enough to give us more ridiculous drama. Is that asking too much? Apparently not…read on!

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Mimi Faust Dishes On Her Relationship With Stevie J & Joseline; Does Not Trust Joseline With Her Daughter!

Mimi Faust and Stevie J's relationship has been up and down, up and down. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars seemed to have things all worked out, but according to a new interview Mimi reveals they are officially dunzo and struggling to co-parent, but unfortunately Joseline's influence is causing major tension!

"We have not been back together but we do have a 3 year old that we do have to co-parent," Mimi shares with BallerAlert.com. "We do have to do some kind of business together."

Mimi adds that they are "absolutely not" living together and haven't been since July. "I ended up staying at his house because of the baby a few months ago but we still weren't together." Mimi reveals they decided to co-habitate because of childcare. "I moved in because his sister was the nanny. I was traveling and working and his sister was there to watch Eva. It was convenient for when I had to just get up and go, she was right there with the baby."

VH1 Announces New Cast And Premiere Date For Third Season Of Love & Hip Hop!

Not even Stevie J and Joseline could scare this franchise out of existence…unfortunately. VH1's Love & Hip Hop is set to return in January, and hopefully the original show will get back to the original premise and leave Atlanta's scripted ridiculousness behind. I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath!

It will be the third season for the network hit, and undoubtedly drama-filled. Rumor has it that first season cast members Olivia Longott and Rich Dollaz will return along with second season additions Erica Mena and new mom Yandy Smith. It looks like the show has totally cleaned house, although given the success of Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones' spin-off, I'm not shocked they are absent from the roster.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Reunion Recap: So Sad To See It End!

These people are never going to go away are they? Last night was the second half of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion. It was basically two sets of screaming love triangles with smug and sometimes unintelligible men at the center. Needless to say, Mona Scott-Young loved it!

We resume with the infamous love triangle among this crazy cast of characters. Mona asks Stevie J. point blank if he and Joseline are still together. After some beating around the bush, he tells her that they are no longer seeing each other. Joseline laughs, saying that she was only using Stevie for sex and money anyway–she doesn't need the headache that comes with seeing Stevie. Mona revisits the three-way therapy session. Mimi Faust is very defensive when she tells Mona that she was just trying to keep her family together when she agreed to counseling. When Stevie implies that Mimi was only with him for his money, she goes ballistic, and he smugly puts on his sunglasses and leans back on the couch. He has got to have some kind of major personality disorder, right? At least we have some Joseline one-liners to break up the swearing.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Reunion Recap: What Were We Watching??

Good gracious. Part One of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion took a lot out of me. Mona Scott-Young is mediating…if you can even call it that, but the lady looks really good. I didn’t recognize her! I guess I shouldn’t be shocked that she’s ready to stir the pot!

We begin with a montage of the season. It’s much easier to watch in a quick recap than it was to watch every week. I know the regular readers will agree! I’m most excited to see how all things Stevie J. will pan out at this reunion. I have a feeling I’m going to be incredibly disappointed. These women, save one or two, have absolutely no shame. None. Nada. Zero shame. It’s sad, but it’s certainly entertaining at least.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Recap: Mimi Missed the Bus

Finally, the episode we’ve been waiting for all season–the last one! Last night was the season finale of the scripted train wreck that is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

Lil’ Scrappy goes to visit Erica Dixon, and she doesn’t trust him. Erica doesn’t think he can be loyal. He claims that Shay is a friend, but Erica knows she’s just a “slut bucket.” Loves it! She just wants them to be friends and be great co-parents to their daughter. Scrappy professes his love and apologizes for being “a little wild,” but he ultimately agrees that the pair needs to focus on their daughter. If they make it work down the road, he’ll be thrilled, but right now he can be patient.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Recap: Sleezo, a Missing Neck, and a B-I-C-T-H

Last night’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta began where last week’s left off…with a butt whupping session from Joseline mid-therapy. Once they get her under control, Mimi Faust admits that she lied about staying with Stevie J. just to see Joseline’s reaction. Joseline going crazy with jealousy confirms Mimi’s suspicions that Stevie is still seeing Joseline…despite what he’s told her. The therapist questions Mimi’s intentions, and she says she just wants Stevie to leave her alone. After hearing all of Stevie’s lies, she’s now interested in Joseline’s side of the story.

Joseline is teary-eyed talking about her lonely childhood. She admits that she didn’t know much about Mimi because Stevie only referred to her as his baby mama. Had she known they were still together, Joseline never would have started things with Stevie. Um, yes she would have–it was clearly in the script!
