When Tami Roman calls out your behavior, you must be doing something very, very wrong. The Basketball Wives star isn't known for her couth or kindness on the reality show. Instead, she's brash, aggressive, and in her co-stars' faces at every turn. It must be bad when she's dishing on someone else's issues!
Jennifer Williams left the reality hit after a physical altercation in which her former best friend Evelyn Lozada charged at her over a dining room table at the Derby…you know, normal everyday stuff. Now Jen's ex-husband has come upon hard times, and Tami feels like he's getting what he deserves.
April has finally arrived and hopefully bringing spring weather with it! Not only are we celebrating spring this month, but also the birthdays of a few of our favorite reality TV stars! See which stars are blowing out candles this month and check out the photo gallery of the birthday boys and girls below! (Above: Jacqueline circa 2010)
We love to snark here at Reality Tea (it's kind of our thing), but we would never wish ill on anyone no matter how much they annoy us or how vile they seem to be in their everyday lives as they're caught on camera. I have to say that I'll never condone Tami Roman's atrocious behavior on Basketball Wives, but I hated to learn that she was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after fainting. Thankfully, she's doing much better!
The reality star is busier than ever these days, reportedly starring in her own reality show Roman Empire and prepping to act along side Halle Berry in a new CBS drama produced by Steven Spielberg. Seriously, how did that happen? Do you think Halle Berry looked at her agent and was like, are you kidding me? And Spielberg? E.T.? Saving Private Ryan? Indian Jones? Anyway, I digress. I just find the pairings odd. #understatement. Where were we? Oh yes, Tami had a health scare.
I don't think a day goes by that I wonder if reality stars ever learn from their bad behavior. I realize they likely never will, but sometimes even I get surprised. Basketball Wives star Tami Roman may have just shocked me yet! The volatile bestie of Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O'Neal seems to have learned some lessons after watching herself on the small screen. Too bad her friends have yet to follow suit!
The veteran reality star compares her time on MTV's Real World to the producer created (I'm looking at you, Nostrils!) drama, and cites that one genre (at least back in her day) was a lot more authentic than the other…you know, back when reality television was actually supposed to be real.
Plagued with really lackluster ratings this season and several cast members looking to quit, Basketball Wives is desperately floundering.
The fifth season was all about Evelyn Lozada's marital breakdown from Chad Johnson and Tami Roman changing her image. Kind of. With the season ending, producers approached the ladies about filming the reunion, but Evelyn reportedly balked! Sources say she is sick of discussing her very brief albeit disastrous marriage, plus she's not getting along with any of her castmates and is scared of secrets they may spill!
Sources tell TMZ VH1 then decided to cancel the whole reunion after Evelyn refused to cooperate and filming will not be rescheduled. The other wives just have nothing exciting going on and have nothing to talk about so without Evelyn's drama there basically is no point. Producers felt there simply wasn't enough material.
Well, last week's episode of positivity and good times quickly fell by the wayside, didn't it? On last night's season finale of Basketball Wives, Suzie Ketcham certainly went out with a bang, while Tami Roman made sure to stir the pot behind the scenes.Shaunie O'Neal has perfected her appalled look when dishware is thrown, and Evelyn Lozada manages to shed just a few more tears.
The ladies decide to have a quiet night in on their last night in London. The women are showering Evelyn with praise over a fashion show well done, and they unanimously decide it's hands down the best girls trip they've taken for the show. Given that no one left in the middle of the night or had dead fish hidden in their suitcase, I'd say it was a screaming success.
Back in Los Angeles (where do these ladies live?), Evelyn, Tami, Suzie, and Shaunie are bowling. Tami decides its the perfect time to tell her friends about Kenya Bell's phone call and invitation to see her perform. They find it humorous that Kenya claims to have turned over a new leaf. Tami describes her "Hate Me" song, and Suzie's eyes immediately turn to daggers. The ladies are shocked to learn that her song is about one of them, and they narrow it down to either being a "tribute" to Suzie or Evelyn. Oh hell no! It had better not be about Evelyn! Suzie checks out the lyrics on the Internet, and Evelyn accuses her of being so high school. She would know, right?
Hmmm…this season of Basketball Wives has somehow seemed shorter than most–not that I'm complaining, mind you! Perhaps there just wasn't enough footage of craziness to make it last longer given the fact that Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman were trying to revamp their violent images via tear and nail polish respectively.
Tonight is the show's season finale, and it seems producers filmed a little smack down between Suzie Ketcham and former cast mate Kenya Bell. While it's not table jumping or wine bottle hurling stuff (thankfully), it seems that Suzie has graduated from hat swatting to full on hair pulling.
Of course none of this would be possible if Tami hadn't decided to stir the pot and invite the women to Kenya's performance. Personally, I am over this set of women, but I can't decide if their drama-fueled antics made them at least more entertaining to watch. It's official…I am definitely part of the problem!
