Last night the reality stars converged in West Hollywood to celebrate with OK! Magazine’s So Sexy LA party. Stars from Shahs of Sunset, Vanderpump Rules, Teen Mom and more turned out for the event.
Shahs stars GG Gharachedaghi, Shervin, and MJ Javid were in attendance, but MJ’s fiance Tommy Feight sat this one out. GG got into the spirit of the event, wearing her best OK! pink bra under a somewhat see-through black dress.
Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham smooched her on-again/off-again boyfriend Simon as she posed for pics.
AlthoughJax Taylor wasn’t photographed on the pink carpet, he was headed to the event, which was also attended by his co-starsJames Kennedyand Lala Kent. The show just started filming the new season yesterday and Jax had some choice words for James ahead of the event, “If I don’t kill that piece of sh$t tonight, he should play the lottery.” So, clearly James is still pushing every last button of Jax’s. 😉
Farrah Abraham claims she was tricked into making her sex tape, Backdoor Teen Mom, but in a recently uncovered hilarious court filing, theTeen Mom OG star is being accused by Jonathan Lee Riches of secretly filming a sex tape with him, then blackmailing him by threatening to release it! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg in this insanely bizarre case, riddled with absolutely nonsensical claims against Farrah. Is this, like, karma?
It certainly appears that in the delusional category Farrah has met her match! Sit down. Take deep breaths – it’s this ridiculous.
Jonathan Lee Riches claims that in 2012 he and Farrah had a rendezvous at, of all classy places, a Holiday Inn in Iowa. Faaaahncy. Unbeknowst to him, despite the fact that she was like on TV and stuff, Riches claims he had no idea that A) Farrah was underaged; and B) Farrah had secretly recorded their sexytimes.
Last night was the most rage-inducing episode of Teen Mom 2 this season thanks to David Eason’s (aka “Uncle Dave”) beyond creepy, awful behavior.
On the bright side, Adam Lind’s child support wasn’t mentioned at all (or it was and my brain has successfully blocked it out). Instead of forced storylines that no one cares about, we got to see the genuine Chelsea Houska deal with the very real issue of taking a six year old to get glasses.
The deployed Javi Marroquin made several appearances via FaceTime and surprised Kailyn Lowry and her friends. Leah Messer was surprised by Corey Simms’s objection to the court order grant, which she thought they had agreed was fair and best for the girls. And I was surprised and disgusted to see David calling Kaiser his kid.
Despite the girls being in their mid-twenties, MTV has decided to give them yet another season to try to emulate Chelsea Houska by getting their acts together. It won’t happen, but we watch despite (and probably because of) the incessant trainwreckitude. “It’s the same story every season,” sighs a source.
Chelsea and three of her girlfriends make Cole DeBoer drive them to a wedding venue several hours away. Does Cole have friends? It seems odd to me that he would go on this trip unless he has nothing better to do. I’d rather stay home and babysit Chelsea’s mammoth dog and Pete-Pete. Before they head out, the girls and the hair monster living on Chelsea’s head push Mary’s car out of a snow drift.
Last night’s episode confirmed it for me: this season of Teen Mom 2 is too long. How many times can we hear the same stories retold over and over and over again?
Chelsea Houska is trying to get Adam Lind’s child support adjusted, Adam impresses himself, Isaac doesn’t want Javi Marroquin to leave, Leah Messer thinks she has her s–t together, and Jenelle Evans won’t let Nathan Griffith see Kaiser. Some of the story lines actually moved last night, though. Jenelle finally met with Nathan, Javi left for deployment, Chelsea has a new plan for Aubree’s name, and Leah gets a court date for custody reconsideration.
Last week, we witnessed Leah’s awkward dinner with Jeremy Calvert and this week we relive it through her recap to friend Kayla. Jeremy has no interest in Leah, but that’s okay, because Leah doesn’t want to be in a relationship. She needs time and is focusing on her kids. Tinder hookups don’t count. Right after telling Kayla that Ali will eventually lose muscle function in her organs, Ali falls off a swing. It’s a sad reminder that Ali’s condition will continue to deteriorate.
We barely saw Corey Simms on last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 – even Nathan Griffith had more air time than him! – but other than that, last night’s episode was centered on dads, the old, the new, the steps, and the born again.
Chelsea Houska wants to replace Aubree’s old dad, Adam Lind, with new dad, Cole DeBoer. Adam accepts Cole as Aubree’s step-dad, but refuses to be ousted as DAD. Isaac’s step-dad, Javi Marroquin, is about to leave for a six month deployment, and dad, Jo Rivera, is prepared to help Kailyn Lowry. Jenelle Evans considers letting Nathan see his son, while she celebrates her birthday in New York with David Eason, who has a couple of kids of his own. AndLeah Messer is getting along especially well with Addie’s dad, Jeremy Calvert. She thinks there may be a new spark with her old flame, which would conveniently spare her from having a fourth kid with a third man.
