Tony Dovolani

Kim Zolciak

Despite a social media campaign and a petition to return, Dancing with the Stars went on without Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak this week. Kim and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, were forced to withdraw from the competition two weeks ago when Kim wasn’t medically cleared to fly to L.A. for the live show.

Kim has since been cleared to fly. So, she hopped on a plane and headed to New York City for an appearance on Good Morning America, where she talked about the mini stroke she suffered three weeks ago, the heart condition her doctors discovered while she was hospitalized, and the disappointment she felt over ‘the powers that be’ forcing her to withdraw from Dancing with the Stars.

Kim Zolciak cut from Dancing with the Stars

Kim Zolciak and Tony Dovolani are fighting for their right to party, err, dance after the Don’t Be Tardy star was forced out of Dancing with the Stars this week. After suffering a mini stroke, Kim wasn’t medically cleared to fly to L.A. for the live show, and the rules state: no show, no dance. Cut and dry… or was the decision personal?

Kim took to Instagram to ask fans to sign a petition to bring Kim and Tony back on the show. “I was cleared to dance on Friday when I was discharged from the hospital, so Saturday morning I was up rehearsing not even 12 hours after,” added Kim. “I had no restrictions BUT flying until today. Yes the timing sucked but ultimately my health is first. I wanted to dance here in ATL via satellite. I could dance just not fly. I’m forever grateful for my dance partner Tony who has always supported me and all of my amazing fans!!! Regardless I will be dancing my ass off at the finale!”

Kim Zolciak forced to quit DWTS

It is official – Kim Zolciak has been forced to withdraw from Dancing with the Stars. After suffering a mini stroke and undergoing a procedure for a serious heart condition last week, Kim wasn’t medically cleared to fly from Atlanta to Los Angeles for last night’s live show.

Backtracking to Saturday, Kim explained via Dancing with the Stars, “I had a blood cot which caused a mini stroke – TIA – and then I ended up being in the hospital for three days. I have not had time to even think about rehearsing. If I can dance, and I get a clean bill of health, I absolutely will because I love it. But my health comes first. It’s kind of up in the air.”

Kim Zolciak

After suffering a mini stroke and learning she has a serious heart condition that could have killed her, Kim Zolciak is home again. You would hope that the Don’t Be Tardy star would be resting, re-evaluating her lifestyle, and spending quality time with her husband and six kids today, but… yeah, no. Kim‘s wasting her energy on lashing out at bloggers and talk show hosts who have insinuated that she faked her stroke to get out of Dancing with the Stars

At the top of Kim‘s shit list is Wendy Williams.

On her show today, Wendy reportedly called out Kim for sharing a selfie from her hospital bed and implied that Kim might be faking an illness to get out of the dance competition. While Wendy admitted that she hated her time on Dancing with the Stars and would have done anything – but fake a serious illness – to get out of it, she said Kim should have just stubbed her toe, called it a day, and went home. Kim ignored it lashed out at Wendy on her Instagram.

Reality TV Star Kenya Moore

Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite shots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.

Above: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss shared, “Look at that baby bump! Kenya Moore, it looks good on you!”

Below you will find pics from Kim Zolciak, Meghan King Edmonds, Amber Marchese, Draya Michele, Porsha Williams, Kim Richards, Tonya Banks, Sadie Robertson, Kendra Wilkinson, Joanna Krupa, and more.

Kim Zolciak hospitalized for mini stroke

Kim Zolciak was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering a mini stroke. The reality star was rushed to the hospital when her side went numb and her speech disappeared.

Kim has been juggling double-duty – training hard for Dancing With The Stars in between traveling back and forth from LA to Atlanta to be with her family. The crazy schedule and the stress apparently took its toll on Kim, who remains in the hospital for additional tests, but hopes to be discharged tomorrow.

Dancing with the Stars Val and Tamar

For part two of Hometown Glory week on Dancing with the Stars, the focus is on the pros. Val Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani share their stories… but it’s still up to Tamar Braxton and Kim Zolciak to dance well and move forward in the competition.

Val considers his hometown New York City. “My parents dropped everything in Ukraine, their job, their friends, and came to New York City with nothing just so that their kids could become something,” shares Val. “Everything I have now is because of them.”

Once again, Val and Tamar butt heads in the rehearsal. When Val explains his vision for the dance, Tamar takes issue with him chasing her around shirtless. Wait, what? A shirtless Val is everything. #FansSelf #Shallow #DontCare I’m not here for Tamar making Val keep his shirt on.

Dancing with the Stars

It’s week two for Kim Zolciak and Tamar Braxton on Dancing with the Stars.

About last week’s abysmal start, Kim says, “It was all kind of a blur – the scores and what they [the judges] said. I am really disappointed in myself because I obviously can do much better. But I mean where can you go from here but up?”

Kim focuses on Atlanta for “Hometown Glory” week.

“I grew up in Connecticut,” explains Kim, “but I have been here in Atlanta for 16 years. Atlanta’s where Big Poppa all my dreams came true. I met my amazing husband here. And I have had five of my children – out of six – here in Atlanta.”

Does Kim dance better this week? Avoid elimination?
