Just days after Camille Grammer revealed her estranged husband Kelsey Grammer was planning to tie the knot in January, 2011, TMZ is now confirming the story.
According to TMZ, Kelsey has formally asked a judge to grant the divorce decree asap! The legal process is apparently called “bifurcation.” Kelsey is requesting his divorce be rushed and for the money issues aka division of assets to be dealt with later.
Under California law, divorces can become final 6 months after the petition is filed. Since Camille filed on July 1, 2010, Kelsey will be free to marry his mistress fiance Kayte Walsh on Saturday, January 1, that is if the judge grants his request for the bifurcation.
So how does Camille, star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, feel about this? A friend of Camille’s tells TMZ she “is not surprised but continues to be disappointed at Kelsey’s immature and disrespectful behavior.”
In other BH news, TMZ is also reporting that Lisa Vanderpump was involved in an attack on Christmas eve. It all started when Lisa, her husband Ken Todd, Los Angeles news reporter Robert Kovacik and some others were having dinner at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge when a drunk man walked up to her table and began berating her.
Reporter Robert then stood up and asked the man to stop, which led to the man punching Robert and shoving Lisa’s husband Ken to the floor. Robert reportedly received two dozen stitches for his busted lip from Dr. Paul Nassif, who also stars on the RHOBH. TMZ adds that Robert has since filed criminal charges against his assailant.
No word yet on if Giggy’s innocent eyes were forced to witness the attack. And finally, Kyle Richards, along with her family, spent the Christmas holiday visiting Aspen. Even more interesting, it seems Kyle is still BFFs with Faye Resnick despite the strong protest from her frenemy costar/morality police Camille. Kyle and Faye were photographed yesterday shopping in Aspen. Those photos are below –
