Word on the street is Bravo is hustling to fill some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills vacancies. Denise Richards drank her last Casamigos Blanco on camera and took off. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave also left, but that wasn’t her choice. Seriously, it was the one thing people asked for in 2020 and Bravo gave it to them. No word on if Kyle Richards has come through her period of mourning with her bangs intact.
Lots of names are being tossed around to fill the void. Does anyone have Nicollette Sheridan’s number? Many viewers would love to see Sutton Stracke become full time. Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton could join as a friend. People thought
Pimp Mama Kris Jenner might be an option, but that’s a big no. I’m surprised Santa Claus hasn’t been contacted. Now Kris’ former spouse might be a contender. That’s right, Caitlyn Jenner and her BFF Sophia Hutchins are letting Bravo know they are willing and able to grab those diamonds.
When the news broke that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will end after Season 20, some Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans said that they wanted Kris Jenner to join the show. She is already friends with Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. Kris is also connected “the morally corrupt” Faye Resnick from the OJ days.
Now that Denise Richards is gone and Teddi Mellencamp admitted that she got fired, there are spots to fill. Andy Cohen recently said that he could never imagine Kris joining a show that she can’t executive produce (i.e. control the content), like she has on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Remember Kathryn Edwards? Along with Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, Kathryn is part of the “one and done” crew from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kathryn appeared on the show in 2016 and seemed to share much of her conflict with The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick. Though she tried to play the game (don’t hate the game, just marry a player), she was benched after her freshman season. Let’s all take a moment and reflect on the juicy drama and great one-liners Kathryn gifted us with. Aaaaand we’re finished.
While Kathryn didn’t have the opportunity to strut her stuff for a second season, because, fired, she did learn a few things during her tenure on the show. Sometimes reality television isn’t pure in the “reality” sense of the word. You already know this if you have a working tv and access to any type of media device. Recently, Kathryn shared some insight on producer-driven drama in the Bravo universe and certain cast members
earning their check driving that producer-driven bus.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is picking up. This will hopefully be the week we transition away from that mom-shaming storyline about “hypocrite” Denise Richards and onto some interesting content courtesy of Brandi Glanville. Seriously, we need it! The only truly exciting visual last week was Kris Jenner, Kathy Hilton, and The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick sitting all bored on that couch at Kyle Richards’ black and white party.
While Lisa Rinna’s “conversation” with Camille Grammer made for some light entertainment, we need more. I don’t agree with Rinna ruining a decades long relationship with Denise for a TV show, but I do applaud her for going the extra mile for a scene. Whatever you might think about her, I don’t believe she’d force her daughters to appear on RHOBH.
Sometimes, life is a matter of perspective. Instead of being “stuck” at home because of the pandemic, it might feel better to view the situation as being “safe” at home instead.
Of course, what’s going on the world right now should not be minimized, not by any means. Nevertheless, a lot of people with “non-essential” jobs are at home. Some are homeschooling their children. Others have turned their living rooms into an office. Most of the people who are reading this have been watching a lot of reality TV shows- in the background, while fulfilling responsibilities, of course. Well, Bravo knows that fans are looking for premium programming. And, no, I’m not trying to re-watch an episode of a show that I just watched last week.
Congratulations to Paul Nassif and his wife Brittany Pattakos. They are expecting their first child together!
Paul already has three sons with his ex-wife Adrienne Maloof, a former cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Even though Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 is about to begin, there’s nothing wrong with looking ahead to Season 11 casting possibilities.
I wonder what Andy Cohen thinks about this idea: Caitlyn Jenner joining RHOBH. That would be pretty groundbreaking. And maybe we can get some scoop on her famous family.
Wasn’t it fun to see the upcoming trailer for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Last season was tough going and I am cautiously optimistic after seeing the new trailer. From the clips shown, it looks like Denise Richards will be taking the Lisa Vanderpump role of cast outcast. For better or worse, we will also get sprinklings of Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards. Light sprinklings will suffice, thank you!
At the center of the new trailer is a Housewives staple, a cast session with a medium. We all know that nothing good can come from such a gathering, and this season seems to be no exception. Camille Grammer’s epic Season 1 dinner party from hell with medium Allison DuBois is sure to be compared to the Season 10 gathering. So how does Camille, who is returning for Season 10, feel about the new medium episode? Did you ever doubt she would have an opinion?
