It’s splitsville for Taylor Armstrong and husband Russell Armstrong reports UsWeekly.
According to the latest issue of the magazine, Taylor, 39, star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has finally left the icy Russell after 7 years of marriage. A source close to Taylor confirms the news to the mag.
“They’ve had huge marital problems related to finances,” the insider says of the couple, who were most recently seen together with daughter Kennedy, 5, at a May 7 Lollipop Theater Network event in California.
The news of a split doesn’t come as a surprise as their marital issues were well documented on the first season of the Bravo hit show which had Taylor comparing her marriage to a business arrangement. Plus reports came out months ago that the couple was undergoing marriage counseling.
The insider adds that the split has taken a physical toll on Taylor. “She’s emaciated — down 10, 15 pounds,” the source reveals. A report came out last month questioning if Taylor was anorexic after shocking new bikini photos of her came out showing a very skinny frame.
Meanwhile, the drama doesn’t end there for the RHOBH. While most of us assumed new housewife Brandi Glanville would be clashing with Lisa Vanderpump (Brandi’s good friends with Lisa’s former houseguest Cedric), it seems it is Kyle Richards who is clashing with Brandi on the show.
UsWeekly reports Brandi, 38 and Kyle, 42, have been “going at it” since filming began on season 2. “They got into a fight and Brandi lunged at Kyle,” reveals a source. “They had to be separated by producers.”
PEOPLE magazine is reporting that Brandi is “very happy” about joining the RHOBH and that “she really wanted to be on the show.” As for what we can expect on the second season, sources reveal Kim Richards is more assertive while sister Kyle has taken a more laid-back approach. Also, the entire cast has been more accepting of Camille Grammer, who clashed with Kyle on the first season.

UPDATE – Taylor’s rep is now denying the split to PEOPLE magazine. A source states that while “their relationship is not without trouble… they’re still together.” The source also denies any financial difficulties. Only time will tell if the original Us Weekly story is true as US tends to be a reliable media outlet.
