REPORT: Yolanda Hadid On Board For RHOBH! Kyle Misses Filming With Camille; Plus Dana To Release Single?

In your daily dose of Housewives news, we can report that there’s a new and super-wealthy lady joining the cast of RHOBH.

Radaronline.com is reporting that Yolanda Hadid, Dutch model and fourth wife of award-winning music producer David Foster, has officially joined the lavish cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  It seems, as well, that Yolanda has an automatic “in” as she’s known Lisa Vanderpump for years.  And we all saw how well a long friendship played out for Lisa and Adrienne Maloof!

A source reveals, “What most people don’t realize is that Yolanda was married to Lisa’s very good friend, Mohamed Hadid. Mohamed has appeared several times on the show, including during the last season when he threw an over the top engagement party for Lisa’s daughter, Pandora. Yolanda is going to make an excellent addition to the cast and she can definitely hold her ground if the claws come out; she is no shrinking violet.”  I wonder if there will be any scenes with Yolanda, Mohamed, and Mo’s robot teen girlfriend.  I’d certainly tune in for that!

The new season, which presumably premieres this fall, will be missing original cast member Camille Grammer, who, sources say, refused to be filmed with her boyfriend for a story line.  Relegated to special appearances, producers need to vamp up the cast in light of Camille’s absence.

“Filming began last week on the third season with Kyle Richards. She has a lot going on in her life right now, including helping her sister and fellow cast member, Kim Richards, navigate the sometimes rocky road of sobriety,” shares the insider.  “Kim’s sobriety and recovery are going to be a focal point of her story line. The ladies haven’t all filmed together yet, but are expected to begin that next week. Kyle has been lamenting that she is really going to miss Camille because she added much needed class to the show.”

Also expect Taylor Armstrong’s (yes, that’s right…she’s back) issues with alcohol to be front and center.  The source says, “The ladies are also extremely concerned about Taylor’s drinking problem. It has really gotten out of control, and they all believe she is an alcoholic in need of help.”

Continuing, the insider believes, “Taylor needs to go to rehab and the producers have talked to Kyle and Kim about how best to approach her drinking problem, because Kim’s battle with the bottle was documented on the air. There has been talk of doing an on-camera intervention for Taylor.”

After the drama and trauma following Taylor’s marriage breakdown and husband Russell Armstrong’s subsequent suicide, Bravo wants to return the show to its original mold…the opulence of the most wealthy housewives.

“Producers also want to lighten things up for the upcoming season. There was so much sadness in the last season because of the suicide and Kim’s drinking problem,” the insider tells the site.  “Viewers want to live vicariously through the ladies and not see so much doom and gloom and Yolanda will definitely be shaking things up, for the better!”

Hopefully, Yolanda will be able to spice up the cast, but it will still be difficult for the ladies to say good-bye to Camille, the one housewife who did the amazing feat of being hated to revered—it’s usually the other way around, isn’t it, Jill ZarinTeresa?

While they were far from besties season one, Kyle admits to Us Weekly, “It is very weird to me.  We all started out together. We’ve been through so much together and we’re all very bonded.”

“Even if we have our moments and we want to strangle each other at times, it feels weird.  I’m not a good person with change — I don’t like change,” reveals Kyle.  That’s right…no change for this chick–she just wants big bills.  I, for one, can’t wait to see if Kyle handles the new girl in her typical fashion.

And, while many have claimed that Camille walked away because she wanted to keep her new relationship private, she is able to admit that the decision to part ways with Bravo was a mutual one.  I wonder if things would have been different if an agreement could have reached about what she shared with the cameras.  Camille tells the magazine, “I think I would have done it, definitely.”

One ousted “cast mate” we haven’t heard too much about (thankfully) is the eccentric Ms. TWENTY-FIVE  THOUSAND Dana Wilkey.  While we’ll no longer be seeing her sparsely furnished mansion or be hearing about her Thai speaking toddler, Dana isn’t going to silently fade back into the woodwork.  She’s doing what any respectable has-been housewife would do—she’s selling a quotable t-shirt coming out with a song, y’all!  Her single will be released May 7th, so mark your calendars!

Dana recently tweeted, “Monday is so nuts always! A million things going. Working on my song today. Hope it makes people laugh and have fun #rhobh”

Good gracious!  You know what Bravo needs?  A singing competition a la The Voice, only the competitors must be all these iTunes crazy, auto tuned housewives.  You heard it here first.  Call me, Andy Cohen!

ARE YOU EXCITED TO SEE YOLANDA JOIN THE CAST?  WILL YOU MISS CAMILLE?  MORE IMPORTANTLY, WILL YOU PURCHASE DANA’S NEW SONG???
