Brandi Glanville Gets Candid; Discusses Her Next Book, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, & Faye Resnick!

Brandi Glanville book launch of

We can always count on Brandi Glanville to speak the truth, even if people are rising up against her in outrage. From Faye Resnick to LeAnn Rimes; Brandi has never backed down from her enemies. It's why we love her.

In a candid fan-driven sit-down with OK! Magazine, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star talks Housewives drama, her next book, her friendships on the show, and of course Faye and LeAnn

Brandi shares that the reunion was downright frightening! “The girls really have a go at Yolanda [Foster],” Brandi reveals. Yolanda who is suffering from Lyme Disease and battling memory loss as a result. Brandi feels some of her cast mates weren't very sympathetic or compassionate.

“Her brain still wasn’t functioning when she shot the reunion. She couldn’t remember what she had just said, and she couldn’t remember a lot of things. And they were going at her, and I just stepped in and I was, like, ‘Hold up! … Leave her the f**k alone,’ and it got a little ugly."

Speaking of ugly…

"I do have my own opinions about Faye. I almost feel sorry for her, but she chose to be that person. She knew it was going to be on national television. I know she regrets a lot of it." Um… regrets that people didn't fall for her BS. And regrets that she pretty much blew her chances of getting on the show!

“That’s just her personality,” Brandi adds. “I know that she was getting death threats and all this craziness and I think that’s ridiculous, and I wish people would stop with that, because, you know… it’s a show, and no one’s perfect. Faye is just Faye.”

“I’m not defending her by any means,” Brandi clarified. "But getting death threats is a little aggressive. She’s a bitch. She doesn’t need to die.”

Being a lady is "who you are on the inside," Brandi describes. “Do I say the F word? Yes. Do I dress a little slutty? Maybe. But I know I do the right thing … and I know I’m a good person.”

“But I also know that I f#*k up — but I think that everyone is allowed to. You can still be a ‘lady.’ Listen, if you buy your clothes at Walmart you can still be a lady, Faye! It’s ridiculous.”

Brandi also dishes that they are casting for new Housewives next season. "I think if they don't have the bitchy girls in there, they don't have a show," Brandi says. "If we all get along, that's not that fun to watch!"

"They're interviewing lots of people. I hope they get someone really fiesty, because with Kim [Richards] and Kyle [Richards] – you never know!" Surprisingly, Brandi thinks Kim and Kyle should return to the show next season.

"Kyle and Kim… I've never seen two sisters act like that in my life. And I've never seen anyone get under Kyle's skin like Kim does! And vice versa. That makes good TV."

Apparently Brandi and Kyle, who are working on the movie The Hungover Games together, discussed how twitter affects their psyche. "Kyle says twitter really, really, really hurts her feelings. I was like maybe you shouldn't be such a bitch!," Brandi laughs. "If you are a good human being it comes across on camera! We can all be bitchy."

And finally Brandi discusses how she feels about being a successful author and shares her next book project!

"Walking through the airport and seeing my book in those news things. It's kind of my 'pinch me' moment. Like, wow – I'm actually an author!"

"I'm actually smart! I feel very proud of myself and I haven't felt that way in a while," Brandi adds humbly. As for her next book, "We're working out the 'numbers' right now. I've been writing."

Another bonus about publishing her book: "Bonus Mom… "I think she's a little quiet these days – which is nice," Brandi laughs.

Brandi started writing Drinking & Tweeting during her divorce. "I always journaled. And I journaled throughout my divorce." And this time she's writing about what's its like to be single in the online dating world.

“I’ve been single for four years and I have friends that are gay, straight, single, 40, 30, 50 — and I kind of want to write, you know, Drinking, and Tweeting, and Relationships.

“The stuff that I’ve already written — I think it’s pretty funny, and then I’ve called all my girlfriends saying ‘I need your dating horror stories, and I need to know what you would do differently.’ So it’s going to be a lot of my friends helping me with this one, but it’s going to be, like, dating in 2013, and relationships, and how the game has changed, especially with, you know, dating online.”

Brandi also dishes that Lisa Vanderpump and Yolanda have tried to set her up with eligible bachelors, but nothing serious. I don’t have the time for a boyfriend right now,” she shares. "I’ll date, and, you know, have fun, but that’s all that’s happening right now.”
