Teresa Guidice at Son of Cubano in New Jersey

Bravo has had plenty of experiences with stars in courtrooms, but they’ve never had a Real Housewife actually go to prison! With Teresa Giudice to begin serving a 15 month sentence on or about Januay 5th, 2015, Bravo is reeling about how to handle the Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars lockup!

Some options include putting filming for season 7 on long hiatus until Teresa returns from prison. “It’s been done before,” an insider explains. “There was a point where `Real Housewives of New York’ was off the air for almost a year.” It’s fair to note however, that when the show return ratings were at an all-time low. Of course with the drama of Teresa re-enacting Orange Is The New Leopard Black, I doubt that will be the case with RHONJ

However, another possibility is Bravo filming the upcoming season right up until the day Teresa self-surrenders. Sources say cameras are already rolling just in case Bravo decides to go that route and that a Bravo camera crew was outside the courtroom on Thursday when the Giudices received their sentences. “Teresa doesn’t have to surrender until January,” a source close to production told NY Daily News. “So there’s plenty of time to continue filming.”

SENTENCING THE GIUDICES; THEY LIED TO COURT ON SENTENCING DAY!

But other rumors are swirling that the show may make the focus of the 7th season about the stars reacting to Teresa’s incarceration while filming Joe Giudice at home with the couple’s 4 daughters as he awaits his own sentencing. The judge has allowed Teresa and Joe to serve staggered sentences so their children will always have a parent at home.

Moving on tonight is a brand new episode of RHONJ, and while Teresa is back at home in Jersey, the twins continue to battle with Hurricane Jim in Florida over Victoria Gotti‘s allegation
