Phaedra Parks

Come on down, Phaedra Parks, you’re the next contestant on The Pretension Is Ripe.

Not that I expected much different, but the Real Housewives of Atlanta star took zero responsibility for her rude words towards Demetria McKinney. She also blamed the nasty, hateful exchange between Claudia Jordan and NeNe Leakes on Claudia. Heaven forbid she call out her new best friend.

“I was being sassy, but it was not with any ill intent,” insisted Phaedra. “That’s what we all do when we get together. I think because Demetria has not spent a lot of time with me, she probably took things a bit too personally.” Or, maybe you should not be so nasty to someone you barely know, Phaedra.

Phaedra added, “My grandmother used to say, ‘If someone doesn’t know you personally, do not take it personal.’ This is a strong group of very opinionated, independent women, and that can be intimidating at times.”

“Nothing surprises me anymore. However, I am shocked that Demetria was more focused on me and the group dynamics than on her debut performance,” Phaedra said about Demetria confronting her. “The ‘confrontation’ would have been more effective if she would have discussed it with me privately, since our initial conversation wasn’t in the presence of the peanut gallery.”

So, Phaedra‘s not to blame for anything, and apparently neither is NeNe. Of course there’s NO mention of the disgusting words NeNe spewed at Claudia. Nope, because, Claudia “hit below the belt” and invited the insults.

“When Claudia hit NeNe below the belt, she invited NayNay to join us. Once NayNay arrived, all bets were off,” said Phaedra. “At that moment all I could hear in my ears was Sweet Brown’s famous words, ‘Oh Lord Jesus it’s a fire.’ So I responded accordingly by grabbing my ice water and dodging the flames.”

TELL US – DO YOU AGREE? DID DEMETRIA SIMPLY TAKE PHAEDRA’S COMMENTS TOO PERSONALLY? DID CLAUDIA HIT BELOW THE BELT?
