“I feel bad for her,” Brandi sympathizes, “It’s tough… I know every day’s a struggle.”

“I never saw her drink, I never saw her do anything. I never saw her do a drug. Did I see odd behavior? I did,” Brandi confesses. Oh – what happened to everyone is imagining that Kim needs help and lying about how BRANDI said she needed an intervention?!
Brandi defends her decision to not interfere in Kim’s sobriety, because Kim never asked for her help. “My thing is, you can’t help somebody that doesn’t want help. And if they say, ‘I’m fine,’ then in their head, they’re fine,” Brandi explained on the For Crying Out Loud podcast.
“And there’s nothing you can do until they say ‘I want to get help. I think I have a problem.’ … Until she says it herself: ‘I need help,’ I’m just her friend. Period,” Brandi shares. “It’s not my place to go and say, ‘You have a problem,’ because all that does is shut me down to her, she walks away from me and then she has nobody.”
On her recent Dr. Phil sit-down Kim’s children spoke out on her friendship with Brandi and although they acknowledged Brandi had been there for their mother during the show they didn’t feel it was a good friendship for Kim. Kim’s son Chad went so far as to call Brandi “toxic.”
Kim is still in rehab and reportedly will not be returning to RHOBH for the 6th season.
