Andy Cohen Moving Watch What Happens Live To A Bigger Studio And Tweaks The Show Name

It’s the end of an era! As we wind down 2016, Andy Cohen announced that we’ll be saying goodbye to the Clubhouse as we know it! Andy is moving Watch What Happens Live to a bigger studio and is tweaking the name! Starting in 2017, it’ll be  known as Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Andy’s new Clubhouse is now going to accommodate 50 guests, where it only holds 22 right now. So, maybe there’s new hope for those fans who have been dying to sit in on an episode.

Bonus feature! Andy is also implementing a stage for music! Luann de Lesseps and Melissa Gorga are firing up new songs as we speak!

The new studio will be in the same building, but will now have rooftop access and more.  Andy shared with Variety, “Our new clubhouse is the perfect upgrade for us because it won’t lose any of the intimacy or lunacy provided by our current home. We’re going from an audience of 22 to about 50, plus we have roof access and a whole lot of new surprises. It’s like moving from a Tic Tac to a studio apartment.”

I get that the studio is really cramped but that’s part of it’s allure, I think. It all “feels” very indie, for lack of a better word.  Hopefully the new one doesn’t feel too fancy and “mainstream.” It might kill some of the ambiance.

I guess this will put those rumors to rest that Andy was looking to fly the coop!
