Lindsay Hubbard is opening up about her experience filming the Summer House spinoff, In the City, with Amanda Batula. The series began filming in the fall of 2025, on the heels of Summer House’s tenth season. The timeline has raised questions about whether the show will capture the start of Amanda and West Wilson’s secret romance. Lindsay addressed her co-star during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, revealing she and Amanda became very close while filming.

Lindsay says she “had Amanda’s back”
On the Tuesday, April 28 episode of WWHL, Lindsay shared that she and Amanda bonded while filming the upcoming spinoff.
“We did a lot of filming for In The City right after Summer House, and I had Amanda’s back,” said. “We were basically best friends while filming. I got very, very, very, very close to Amanda while filming In The City.”
However, the relationship has become more complicated in light of recent news. On WWHL, Lindsay said she has not responded to Amanda’s texts after learning about her relationship with West. When Andy Cohen asked why she thinks Amanda would pursue a relationship with West, Ciara Miller’s ex-boyfriend, Lindsay replied, “I’m still trying to figure that out.”
This is not the first time Amanda’s found herself on the outs with Lindsay. The two have a long, complicated history that extends across ten seasons of reality television. Let’s not forget, Lindsay was the one who exposed Kyle Cooke for cheating on Amanda in Season 3.
In The City will premiere on Bravo Tuesday, May 19. Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
