Before this Shahs of Sunset season even started airing, fans knew a major story line would be Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s short-lived marriage. At this point in the season, it’s just a fledgling relationship that she is excited about, but it was a whole different story during her last Watch What Happens Live appearance.
GG is so done with that relationship and she has no issue spilling the tea to Andy Cohen.
Even though GG wants to be out of that marriage, she revealed, “He is still currently my husband.” Even the king of Bravo was shocked since Andy admitted, “I thought you were actually divorced.” GG explained, “He won’t sign so that’s a whole different situation. I’m married still.”
GG (sort of) explained why she decided to get married in the first place: “I never believed in marriage and I’m not the type to be committed like that and I did something to try to think everything I did was wrong, so I thought ‘why not try something new?'” Not the best rationale for marriage, but it’s a great reality TV story line, so I’m here for it.
And in other irrational news, GG shared, “My dad wanted to kill me when I told him we eloped because I told him we didn’t sign a prenup.” Ugh oh. Yikes.
With all of the scintillating GG talk, it was easy to forget that Ryan Serhant was also a guest. A viewer asked him a pretty fluffy question to remind the viewers that he was a part of the episode: “Which agent from New York or LA would you never want to co-list with?” Ryan said, “I’ve tried co-listing with Fredrik [Eklund] before and it didn’t work out. I think we’re both too competitive.”
The talk turned to GG again – of course – when a caller asked if she has “baby fever” just like the rest of the cast. Surprisingly enough, GG admitted, “That’s sort of why I ended up getting married: because I wanted to have babies and he needed to be married first, so at this point I’m just going to go for a really good sperm donor.” Are all of the Shahs going to have babies next season? At this point it seems like a possibility.
