I feel like I stayed longer at Real Housewives of New York cast events than Ramona Singer did this past season. She always left early to go on a date. Is it in the cast contracts to stay at events for a minimal amount of time? It really seemed like Ramona stayed as long as she “had” to before peacing out immediately.
Weirdly, most of her dates aren’t even filmed, yet we always hear about how she’s going on so many. Sometimes, I think she just says she’s going on dates so she can sneak back home to hang out with her dog CoCo. She only has one year left to live, you guys. Or at least that’s what Ramona has been saying…based on nothing at all, which (weirdly) makes me laugh every time she mentions it.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Ramona opened up about her love life. The RHONY OG declared, “Dating is tough.” Then she elaborated, “It’s tough because I’m on a TV show. I meet men, they like me, then they don’t like the fact that … [the] press makes up stuff about me.” Apparently, Ramona is not trying to date a thirst monster Real Housewives fan. Cough cough Harry Dubin, Slade Smiley, and Tom D’Agostino.
Ramona lamented, “They write a lot of things that just aren’t even true. … Yes, I’m in the public eye, but I really am a private person.” Which is apparently acceptable for Ramona, but not for her co-star Tinsley Mortimer, who “doesn’t share enough,” according to the New York Housewives.

Meanwhile, the beginning of Season 11 was basically The Tinsley Mortimer Show with all of her ups and downs taking center stage, minus some transparency about her source of funds. Which the Housewives addressed at length during the reunion.
Ramona declared, “Whatever’s meant to be, is meant to be.” She also remarked, “I’ve been very blessed by God and I know he’ll continue to bless me and when the timing’s right, I’ll find a partner. I’m very fulfilled with my friendships and my family, so it’s all good.”

And I’m just over here hoping Ramona is blessed with a man who has no problem being on camera. I would love to watch Ramona’s relationship play out. Imagine a Ramona engagement. Or better yet, a Ramona bachelorette party with her daughter Avery Singer wincing with embarrassment and scolding Ramona on partying responsibly. A Ramona wedding would be everything. Mario Singer could even walk her down the aisle!
