Real Housewives Of New Jersey: Joe Giudice’s Appeal Bond Is Denied.

Ciao, America!  Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice is not having much luck in the courtroom.  And his case has taken another hit as a judge as ruled against him.  Again.

It appears as though Joe’s stay in detention while he awaits his immigration appeal is going to be a little longer than he wanted.   Teresa Giuidce might be breathing a huge sigh of relief.

To quickly summarize Joe’s current state of affairs.  In 2014 he was found guilty of fraud, and sentenced to 41 months in prison.  After he was released, because he is not a citizen of the United States, ICE detained him pending a decision on whether or not he should be deported. Joe has been in detention since March.

An immigration judge ruled that he should be deported. And this led to Joe filing an appeal.  We recently learned that his request for additional time to file a brief on his appeal was denied.  He had a glimmer of hope when his attorney filed an appeal bond requesting his release pending the decision of the appeals court.  A source said that if his bond was denied, Joe would most likely withdraw his appeal altogether.  This would mean being deported to Italy.

According to TMZ  Joe’s request to be released pending the appeals court decision was denied.  Hoping to spend time with his family if he is deported, Joe was obviously upset at this outcome. “We are absolutely devastated,” Joe’s attorney James Leonard Jr said, “Our system of justice has failed this family. We are now at the mercy of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. God willing they will return this man home to his four daughters.”

Joe’s attorney also issued a statement to People.“Joe is extremely disappointed,” James explained, “He spent the last six months in a cage not able to hug or kiss his wife or daughters when they came to visit him. We treat animals in shelters better than we treat human beings in these ICE facilities.”

While Joe is able to file an appeal of that courts ruling regarding his bond within the next 30 days he won’t.  It appears as though he is going to wait to see what the final outcome is on his immigration status.  Hopefully, the courts will give their decision soon since all of us are tired of waiting.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK JOE WILL WITHDRAW HIS APPEAL AND GO TO ITALY SINCE HIS BOND WAS DENIED? DO YOU THINK THE COURTS SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED HIM TIME WITH HIS FAMILY WHILE HIS IMMIGRATION STATUS IS PENDING?
