Most people have experienced personal growth in the midst of this Coronavirus outbreak, focusing on the most important things in life, leaving unnecessary drama behind. Unfortunately, that cannot be said about everyone.
Well, Meghan Edmonds and Jim Edmonds still have very public custody drama. Again.
Page Six reported on the latest custody drama for the super bitter exes. They have a three-year-old daughter and twin sons who are two.
Jim “An insider” told Page Six, “Meghan took the kids to Los Angeles in mid-March in violation of her custody agreement and without discussing it with or even telling Jim. Jim is livid that she would travel with small kids during this health crisis and put them at risk, and also he is unable to see them or take care of them because of travel restrictions. Meghan’s actions were reckless and irresponsible.”

To make matters worse, their daughter Aspen had a fever. Apparently, Jim only found out they were in California during a FaceTime call. They normally reside in St. Louis.
Meghan’s rep says that a judge approved the California trip and that “there was no violation whatsoever.” Of course, Jim’s rep has a very different version of this story. Jim’s rep says, “There was never any agreement whatsoever to take the children to California.” Apparently, “Jim was completely blindsided and is unaware of any judge signing off on this.”
Meghan’s rep had a lot more to say though. The statement criticized Jim for “prolifically posting about his COVID-19 test on Instagram.” Yes, he actually posted live updates while getting tested for coronavirus over the weekend.

The statement claims, “Jim handed over custody to Meghan 2 days early so he could party in Nashville (the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak at the time) with his 22-year-old daughter and his new live-in girlfriend – so Meghan simply took the children to California during her custody which is completely legal per the terms of their temporary custody agreement.” Ugh. These two are reinventing “messy.”
It gets worse though. Allegedly, “Jim had told Meghan that one of the children had a fever but didn’t have time to take her to the doctor because he wanted to get to partying in Nashville. So Meghan took the child to the doctor where she didn’t have a fever or any kind of infection or virus whatsoever.”

Meghan’s statement also mentioned that they mutually agreed that their children should stay in one place during the quarantine. Because of that supposed agreement, Meghan feels “it wouldn’t matter if the kids were in California or Missouri because he isn’t seeing any of them.” Damn.
The messiness of these Real Housewives of Orange County alums never stops, even during a global pandemic.
