Lisa Rinna isn’t bringing daughters Delilah Hamlin and Amelia Hamlin around that much on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. We do know that Amelia, 20, is dating Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy, Scott Disick, 38. Rinna’s been feigning semi-horror over the couple, but we all know she’s bursting with glee at the celebrity that comes with being associated with that family.

For the most part, the audience only really knows about Amelia’s life. Last season, she opened up about her relationship with her body, food, and mental health. Delilah Belle however has been more reserved on the show. Delilah’s dating Love Island’s Eyal Booker. While she’s a beautiful young woman with fame and a burgeoning modeling career – she’s been going through some stuff in private and would like to keep it that way.

Delilah recently posted a message to Instagram where she announced that she’s taking a break from social media. “On social media, we see what people want us to see. I want you to see that I’m not perfect,” she begins.

“For a long time, for many reasons,” Delilah continues, “I didn’t take my physical and mental health seriously. I wasn’t taking it seriously as it confuses people and even myself sometimes because I look fine or I look healthy so people don’t understand fully when I ‘don’t feel good’.” Unfortunately, it sounds like she’s been feeling pressured to perform on social, in spite of feeling mentally exhausted. This is why mental health is so important – a lot of the time you can’t see these things – but they’re there.

“Right now,” Delilah tells followers, “I must prioritize my physical and mental health although I do feel weirdly guilty doing so …” I hope she stops feeling guilty soon, because no one should have to feel that way when they’re dealing with personal issues. Delilah’s personal issues sound a bit heavy, too, because she also said in the Instagram post, “it’s starting to get a bit scary so if I’m not as present on social media, if I don’t meet deadlines, if I don’t seem myself, if I don’t respond to messages, this is why.”

Delilah apologized to people and then said, “I need to take this break to save my energy and use it to heal.” She added that she, “may just take time off Instagram to rest and heal.” Eyal commented with his support on the post, writing, “proud of you & I love you.”

Here’s hoping Delilah takes all the time she needs.
