Melissa Gorga Says “I Have No Guilt” About Ending Her Relationship With Teresa Giudice

Are you Team Teresa Giudice or Team Melissa Gorga? I asked one of my best friends that question when we first met a decade ago. How is this still happening? We’ve gone full circle on flare jeans in the time it’s taken these “sisters” to figure absolutely nothing out about each other’s personalities. And it’s literally streamable content! Marone a mi.

Teresa not asking Melissa to be a bridesmaid has made official what we have all known since 2011. These two are not friends. Somehow this non-invitation caused a ripple throughout the Bravo-sphere, though, and now we have to talk about it.

During an appearance on Mention it All podcastMelissa described when she finally, after nine seasons, realized, it might be time to give up on that relationship she fought so hard for with her sister-in-law.

Melissa said, “When I went back and watched ‘[Real Housewives] Ultimate Girls Trip’, I was watching some of the scenes where they filmed Teresa and I together on the plane and we were in the car, and I remember looking at her and genuinely saying, ‘This is exciting that we get to do this together and this is something fun. We’ll have these memories that we did something fun for when we get older.’”

Melissa claims that Teresa “just rolled her eyes” and looked back at her for the kind words. Probably because she said it in her sorority tone. It makes me itch too. Melissa claims, “Between that and watching the season, I just feel like I tried and I’m good.”

“I always put my best foot forward,” Melissa added. “And I want to have a good relationship with her, but that was another thing I watched and thought, ‘I feel like I give up.’” Please do. And never go back to trying to act like this “friendship” ever made sense!

After joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey behind Teresa’s back, Melissa and Joe Gorga actually think Tre should be thanking them for the courtesy. These two schmucks recorded their own podcast where Melissa went right for Teresa’s throat. She brought up the family. Said Melissa,  “It’s a shame because [Joe’s] father did this with his sister and it’s kind of like, history repeating itself and it’s extremely sad.”

Am I the only one relieved this arc has finally come to it’s end?
