Andy Cohen Discusses the ‘Strong’ RHOBH Season 13 Premiere

The viewership numbers for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premiere have clocked in at over one million. But no matter how many fans RHOBH has, Andy Cohen will count himself among them.

Fans waited patiently as the show resumed filming to get footage of Kyle Richards’ and Mauricio Umansky’s relationship troubles. The premiere had a lot of pressure riding on it given those delays.

Some fans loved the premiere. Others felt it wasn’t worth the wait. Others still are waiting to see where things go. But Andy Cohen made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was blown away by the premiere. He took to his radio show to discuss all the high points.

Andy connected with Garcelle in RHOBH premiere

On SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, the host shared, “I thought it was so good and I was glad to be able to get the opportunity to talk to Kyle about what’s happening with she and Mo, but I think also, I thought it was really strong premiere.” Andy went on to highlight the scene between Erika Jayne and her psychologist specifically. He called their discussion on empathy “wild.”

Andy further highlighted Garcelle Beauvais’ relationship with her kids. “The scene with Garcelle and her boys on the beach, and I’ve talked to Garcelle about this, it really hit me as a parent. It really, it was, to have your kids be so present with themselves to be able to verbalize what they want and what they don’t want, and what they need from you as a parent.”

He continued, “But also, I mean, her son, as Garcelle said, ‘Wow, he made me feel like a bad parent.’ It’s just, oh my god. It’s a lot. It’s a lot, so there was a lot there and I thought it was very interesting seeing Mauricio and Kyle kind of start the season in a very bad place, so we’ll see where that goes.” Things could go anywhere from here.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
