Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8: Cast Tease ‘Surreal’ Moments

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 is right around the corner; are you ready? Apparently, the new season of the show has got it all!

The cast recently spoke with In Touch Weekly and teased exciting new moments in the upcoming season. Candiace Dillard Bassett shared that viewers can expect everything. “You’re going to get theatrics, Broadway-level performances, and tomfoolery,” she promised. Tomfoolery? Okay, sign me up!

Mia Thornton added, “We laughed, we cried, we argued. This season is full of unique moments.”

Unique and dramatic moments ahead

Seriously though, aren’t histrionics, crying, and laughing a regular part of the Housewives DNA? I guess they need to sell the new season somehow.

So get ready for some unique moments in the new season — and dramatic ones, too. According to the girls, there’s a big health scare for Candiace in the season as well.

And, of course, “there’s a lot of love, too,” Mia shared. She joins Candiace along with other RHOP stars Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, and Robyn Dixon, along with newcomer Nneka Ihim.

And while the girls always try to keep it classy, viewers are in for a wild ride full of twists and turns, and Wendy advised everyone to buckle up.

Candiace added that she’d probably be pulling out her “cryangle” (that special tissue folded into a point to help keep your makeup intact). “You know how we do in the P!” she shared.

Eight years and going strong. Looks like the girls of RHOP still have a lot of stories to tell.

The new girl

One of those new stories is the new housewife, Nneka. “I enjoyed getting to know the ladies,” she shared when asked what it was like joining the cast. “Most of them were very sincere about making me feel comfortable and a part of the group.”

Hmm, most of them?

I have a feeling Wendy isn’t included in “the most” of them, as she said, “It’s clear that Nneka came into this group with the sole purpose to attack and malign me, my mother, and my family. I hope she got the attention she so desperately sought. I’m doing my best to keep negativity out of my space.”

Looks like the drama is starting early!

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 premieres Sunday, November 5th at 8/7c on Bravo.
