Meredith Marks’ car accident has a reputation of its own now. Mainly because of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s histrionic reaction to what happened. Multiple cast members drove by after attending Angie Katsanevas’ Easter brunch together, and none felt that it was a news-worthy incident. Much less that there was any need to stop and inquire about Meredith’s wellbeing.
Certainly, Meredith’s traumatic prior car crash could trigger a strong reaction. But it seems like pushing the issue is backfiring massively on the reality TV star, and that many are ridiculing her for it.
Lisa thinks Meredith “was alright”
Footage of the car accident, as caught on Bravo cameras, was mocked when producers labeled it as such in quotations. Meredith responded to that snub and claimed she was so traumatized, that she saw her life flashing before her eyes.
Her protests that people take her feelings seriously went largely ignored, and Andy Cohen took an opportunity to address the issue again when Meredith’s co-star, Lisa Barlow, appeared on Watch What Happens Live.
“Lisa thoughts on Meredith getting emotional when talking about her car accident,” he asked the Vida Tequila founder.
“I drove by her car accident and it probably didn’t look as traumatic as she felt,” Lisa responded.
“I’m being honest,” she continued. “And I think if you’re not used to driving up and down a canyon, it’s scary. But, I think she was alright.”
Andy wanted to keep the conversation going. He said, “She said she saw her life flash before her eyes.”
“Yes, she did,” Lisa responded with a twinkle in her eye.
It’s wise not to say more. Lisa and Meredith are still on shaky ground, and clearly this road incident was very triggering for her. Perhaps Meredith will choose to respond to Lisa’s little tease. Until then, Lisa has joined the ranks of those diminishing her feelings on the accident.
