Robyn Dixon addressed Karen Huger’s accusations on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac regarding her marriage to Juan Dixon: is it open?
“Now, I need to know something,” Karen said to Robyn. “Your marriage. Is it open, or is it traditional?”
Karen’s question comes shortly after everything blew up in Robyn and Juan’s face following the Season 7 reunion. After denying claims the group brought to Robyn regarding Juan’s alleged infidelity, she later admitted the rumors were true on her subscription-based podcast with co-star Gizelle Bryant.
“What I will say is, yes, Juan was an idiot and communicated with this woman on Instagram,” Robyn said in February 2023. “They did not date. He did not fly her anywhere, and there is a reason why his name is on a hotel receipt.”
During her conversation with Karen at Ashley Darby’s housewarming, Robyn defended her union, adding, “I do not have an open marriage.”
Robyn wants peace and quiet
Everybody knows the Dixons don’t have the most traditional relationship; however, it works for them. The pair spoke about Juan’s mishap on camera, and they appeared to reach a resolution. Her friends, including Charisse Jordan Jackson, have voiced their concerns about Juan and his behavior, but Robyn’s loyalty to her partner hasn’t wavered.
“I feel sorry for the people who waste their precious time worrying about my boring life,” Robyn explained to the group during Episode 3.
Ashley’s event isn’t the first time Robyn has faced criticism about her relationship. But if we’ve learned one thing from Robyn throughout her run on RHOP, it’s that she doesn’t care “if the block is hot.”
“Listen, the moral to this story is don’t talk about me, and I won’t talk about you,” Robyn told producers. “The end.”
