Jackie Goldschneider is doing some damage control ahead of Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14. Fans will find Jackie switching sides and moving over to Team Giudice while leaving Melissa Gorga in the dust.
There are a lot of folks clocking Jackie and saying it’s a strategic move in lieu of a true friendship forming. After all, when Jackie joined RHONJ, Teresa Giudice made no bones about disliking her and they certainly didn’t get along.
Jacks was demoted to “friend” in Season 13 and now fans are wondering if using Tre is Jackie’s way to get her full-time slot back. According to Jackie, that is anything but the case and they are super close good buddies now. Okay, Jan. The Messenger has the scoop.
The flip-flopping of it all …
It’s clear Jackie is doing the most to get on Teresa’s good side because it’s a safe place to be. As long as you agree with everything she says and don’t make her mad, you most likely have job security. The hardcore RHONJ audience hasn’t been shy about checking for Jackie’s motivation, especially after she ditched Team Gorga at BravoCon and went to The Boss’ side.
Despite what people may think, Jackie says she did not switch “teams” in an effort to keep her job and she “can’t wait” for viewers to see what really went down. “There’s this narrative going around by some people that I did it for relevancy,” she said. Yes, yes there is. Because she had already been downgraded and sticking around Team Gorga wasn’t going to help. Also, Tre knows being friendly with Jackie will irritate Melissa so it’s a win/win for both of them.
Jackie added, ”I can breathe and be relevant enough. I can show up and just be relevant enough. So I didn’t need to do that.” Um, who’s gonna tell her that is not the case on a television show? And yes, Jackie was in danger of being bounced. Apparently Margaret Josephs has something to do with Jackie’s choices, which tracks because Marge is gonna Marge.
Jacks and Marge had a friendship blowup and it will play out in Season 14. Thanks to Jackie now being against Margaret, Tre was able to befriend her. Now Jackie has her head so far up Tre’s ass, she can probably see what her next meal will be. “I can’t wait for people to see organically how a new friendship came about,” she continued. “I think it’s great. That’s what the shows should be like — you were fighting and then you found your way back to each other. Who wants to stay on a ‘team’?” Clearly she does.
