Tom Schwartz Put ‘A Lot of Work’ Into Friendship With Tom Sandoval

Tom Schwartz would probably do well on The Traitors. The Vanderpump Rules star has the puppy dog looks to heavily distract from his often infantile actions. He had a pretty good run of avoiding accountability until the Scandoval of it all.

Tom Sandoval put his best buddy between a rock and a hard place. Seemingly using Schwartz’s apartment as his den of sin with Rachel Leviss and most likely asking him to cover his affair. Now the Other Tom shares his thoughts on whether he has any resentment towards Sandoval ahead of Season 11. The Messenger has the details.

Friends ’til the end

Welp, it seems that any dastardly deeds Sandoval might have done have been forgotten by Schwartz. But no one really thought Katie Maloney’s ex would have the cojones to stand alone like a big boy. Additionally, Schwartz has zero issues with Tom for cheating on his other friend, Ariana Madix.

“We’ve put in a lot of work. We put a lot of work into our friendship,” Tom said. “We’ve had a lot of healthy, constructive, productive conversations, and he’s taken full accountability and apologized in many shapes and forms. I think we’ve both learned a lesson,” he added.

Also, Sandoval using him and pretty much asking him to lie on his behalf wasn’t even Schwartz’s main problem. He’s still fussing over the name of their bar and said that has been their “biggest fight.” “I’m still not crazy about a name. I’ll say it! But I’m proud of what we created,” he shared.

Thankfully Schwartz thinks Season 11 of Pump Rules will be easier for him than Season 10, as the heat will fully be on Eyebrow Tom. “I mean, that was excruciating turbulence with a capital T. Maybe this season is challenging with a lowercase T,” he noted.

Schwartz’s thoughts on Season 10

“I was actually reflecting on Season 10 and that whole year before and I was disappointed with myself for the way I handled a lot of adversity, a lot of pain without gain,” Schwartz continued. Or, you know, helped your friend actively cheat on his partner of nine years.

“I’m not terribly proud of myself the way I handled adversity, but because of it, I feel stronger. I’ve kind of reframed the situation, and I have this newfound confidence and optimism like I haven’t had in a long time,” Tom concluded.

We should all be more like Schwartz, just allowing friends to get away with lying to us and making us look like fools. Almost ruining a business. Manipulating a fake kiss with a side-piece at a wedding… Friendship goals!

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres January 30 at 8 PM/ET on Bravo.
