Andy Cohen Would ‘Love’ Monica Garcia To Make RHOSLC Return

Monica Garcia came and went on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The rookie Housewife, who fans are praising as an icon for infiltrating this group of esteemed women, was officially let go from the series following the final part of the three-part reunion.

According to multiple sources, the trust between Monica and the rest of the cast has been broken. Finding a way forward would present too big of a challenge for Season 5. Noah Samton, an NBC executive, spoke about Monica’s future, saying, “From a rating standpoint, you would want to find a way for her to come back. But it’s really challenging in this situation. We’re just trying to figure it out.”

Executive producer and host of Watch What Happens LiveAndy Cohen, also had something to say about Monica’s future on the series.

In an interview with Variety, Andy seemed open to the idea of Monica returning to the Real Housewives franchise. “Who knows?” he said regarding a possible second season. “I love a comeback.”

Truer words have never been spoken. Watchers have witnessed reality TV greats, like Tamra Judge and NeNe Leakes, return to their respective cities after taking a pause in the past. However, in Salt Lake City’s case, “Lisa [Barlow] and [showrunner] Lori [Gordon] are right — it feels too raw right now,” Andy added.

Veteran cast member Heather Gay, the catalyst behind outing Monica as the user behind Reality Von Tease, also shared her perspective about Monica’s status as a Housewife.

“Monica has no connection with any of us right now.”

“There’s no chance that she will be in my home, in my business, or around me anytime soon,” Heather added. She’s currently suing Monica over an unpaid Beauty Lab and Laser bill.

Season 5 of RHOSLC is rumored to begin production in early February. New names and faces have been tossed around. Nothing has been confirmed by Bravo just yet.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is streaming now on Peacock.
