Shereé Whitfield Open to Returning to RHOA

Shereé Whitfield recently revealed she’s “open” to returning to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16.

“I’m open to returning for another season. Yeah, for sure,” Shereé told Zachary Reality. “I’m okay with the reboot. I think fresh faces are good to have.”

The cast of RHOA has been under fire the last few years following a drowsy couple of seasons. Consequently, Bravo and Atlanta’s production company are taking their time to ensure they get it right for the show’s Sweet 16. The word on the street is that it will be a complete reboot, while others say it’s only a minor tweak. What fans know for sure is that there will be a shake-up after Andy Cohen teased on his radio show that the search is going “superb.”

Shereé says Porsha’s rumored RHOA comeback is a great move

Although the gossip about who’s getting an invite back to the party is speculation for now, one departure we can confirm is that of Kandi Burruss. The singer joined the series in Season 2 and has since become the longest-running cast member in Real Housewives history after lasting 14 consecutive seasons

Kandi dropped the news that she’d be stepping away from the show last Sunday while attending the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, leaving everyone, including Andy and her bestie, Kenya Moore, in shock

In place of her absence, the rumor mill recently revealed former Housewife Porsha Williams will return after exiting following Season 13. If that’s accurate, Shereé, who has worked with P Willy before, sees no problem and would welcome her with open arms.

“I think Porsha is fun. You know she has a huge fan base, people love her, she’s fun, and she’s in a different space than when we last saw her,” she said.
