Tom Schwartz has made his intentions with Ariana Madix very clear. The co-owner of TomTom wants to be in Madix’s good graces again. He has a plan to become friends with his Vanderpump Rules co-star, and James Kennedy has some thoughts on the matter.
Those keeping up with VPR Season 11 have seen Schwartz’s unsuccessful attempts at friendship with Ariana. Of course, given Schwartz’s inability to distance himself from Tom Sandoval, a viewer can understand Ariana’s vitriol.
Schwartz wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to stand beside his best friend. But he also wants the approval of America’s biggest reality star. Who wouldn’t? In the past, Schwartz said he had a plan to regain Ariana’s friendship. Perhaps James is privy to this plan as he thinks Schwartz has a shot.
James slams Tom Sandoval for needing “the last word”
During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, James played “Work the Polls” along with the audience. The game raised the question “Do YOU think Ariana & Schwartz will ever be friends again?” James nodded, saying, “I think so, yeah. There’s room.” Andy Cohen was surprised by that answer. The audience poll was split at about 28% Yes and 72% No.
As for other questions about Schwartz, the group was asked if he should give up his friendship with Tom Sandoval. James responded, “Even though I said Schwartz is a better Tom without TomTom, I still think they’re like, [a] match made in heaven apparently.” About 63% of the audience said Schwartz should give up on the friendship, which James said was “so harsh.”
As for Sandoval, when asked if he’d shown enough remorse, James was torn. “I saw a lot more of him, right?” he began. “I’d see it but, you know, when it came crunch time, and, in some conversations he did always have to have the last word. He had to be like, the guy on the top of the mountain looking down on me. And it’s just like, ‘Look dude, you gotta like, put that away before we’re gonna get past this.”
