Former Below Deck super stew Kate Chastain was brought back for a second season of The Traitors. She is once again playing as a Faithful. Kate caused so much glorious chaos during the first season, how could she not return? Kate would love to see some Vanderpump Rules stars join next season. But Scheana Shay has some ideas of her own.
“I think they’d be well suited for this game. I think they’re prone to drama, dramatics, and I think they don’t mind having an open dialogue that’s confrontational — the same reason that I love watching Vanderpump,“ Kate said. She named Tom Sandoval and Lala Kent as the VPR stars that she would like to see on the show.
Scheana picked Katie to become a Traitor
Scheana told Entertainment Tonight that Katie Maloney would be a perfect Traitor. “She just has that ability to not get vulnerable. When you get that vulnerable side of her, you’re like ‘Oh, this is so sweet.’ But you know, you don’t get that a lot,” the singer added. That trait would be an asset if you were trying to avoid being detected by the Faithfuls.
“I feel like the ability to stay kind of stone-faced is a great quality in that,” Scheana said. So, who else could Scheana see donning a Traitor’s cloak? James Kennedy was her pick.
And Scheana agreed with Kate that she would make an awful Traitor. “I completely agree, watching them — like, I couldn’t do that. I am, not, you know, Parvati [Shallow] or someone who is on who was on Survivor or Big Brother – those manipulating, scheming, lying to people sort of shows,” she explained.
While Kate would love to see Lala in the game, Scheana had some doubts about her co-star. Scheana stated, “Lala, she’s softened up a lot in the last couple of years, motherhood and whatnot. I don’t know, I think Katie.”
Another potential cast member that Scheana and Kate disagree on? Sandoval. Kate thinks that he is perfect because he blew up Pump Rules with his cheating scandal. But Scheana disagreed. “Yes, Sandoval’s also a good actor but I do think that’s too obvious,” Scheana said.
