Guerdy Abraira already expressed her frustration multiple times with Tom Sandoval for his George Floyd and Scandoval comparison. However, Guerdy had more to say.
And with good reason. For those not in the loop, the worm compared Scandoval to the murder of George Floyd. A source close to the Vanderpump Rules star tried to explain, “He was comparing the scandal to other national news stories that made huge headlines globally. That’s it.”
Guerdy, however, didn’t cut Tom the least amount of slack. In IG comments and on her story, The Real Housewives of Miami star expressed her distaste for Tom’s comparison. “IS THIS GUY SERIOUS?!” she wrote. But that was just the beginning.
Guerdy slams Tom for “shock value” in George Floyd comment
On February 21, Guerdy took to her Instagram Stories, saying, “This Sandoval crap is not okay, and it’s gonna be addressed. I don’t know if it’s for shock value, I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going on up there, but it’s not okay. George Floyd, out of all people. Are you using it as comparable to your Sandoval crap?”
Guerdy continued, “Villains I find these days are getting applauded, and are getting a crown, a pedestal, and so forth, and this is not okay. Bad behavior does not apply, especially on Black History Month, okay? This is Black History Month, and we need to respect that, okay? So, keep him out your mouth.”
Once again, Guerdy did not miss with this slam, especially with her mandate for Tom to keep Floyd’s name out of his mouth. Moreover, Guerdy raised an excellent point in saying that this situation ought to be addressed. Tom has now released a statement apologizing.
Hopefully, Guerdy’s call to action will amount to something.
